Megan Khung
Megan Khung Yu Wai (; 4 October 2015 – 21 February 2020) was a four-year-old Singaporeans, Singaporean girl who was killed by her mother Foo Li Ping (; alias Chloe Foo) and Foo's boyfriend Brian Wong Shi Xiang () in February 2020. Three months after her death, Khung's body was burned to ashes by the couple, who enlisted the help of a third accomplice Nouvelle Chua Ruo Shi () to assist them in disposing of the corpse. However, Khung's death went unnoticed until five months later, when authorities first got wind of her death upon the submission of a missing person's report by the little girl's father on 20 July 2020. The police managed to arrest all three suspects within less than a week, and on 25 July 2020, both Foo and Wong were charged with murder, while Chua was indicted for disposal of the girl's corpse. Death Of Mohamad Daniel Mohamad Nasser
On 23 November 2015, after being severely assaulted by his mother and her boyfriend the day before, Mohamad Daniel Mohamad Nasser, who was a month short of his third birthday, died at his mother's rented flat in Telok Blangah, Telok Blangah Crescent. Daniel sustained about 41 external injuries caused by abuse. Investigations and sources revealed that the couple had often beaten the boy, told him to stand in the living room or kitchen for hours as punishment, and force-fed him dry chilli. This abuse lasted for a month or so before Daniel died from a head injury inflicted by the couple. Daniel's biological mother, 41-year-old Zaidah (who goes by one name), and her 46-year-old boyfriend Zaini Jamari were arrested and put on trial in June 2016 for the fatal abuse of the boy. Murder Of Cheng Geok Ha
On the morning of 25 November 1977, ten-year-old schoolgirl Cheng Geok Ha (; – 25 November 1977) was last seen playing with her two friends at the carpark below her flat at Chai Chee, Singapore. According to the pair who were last with Cheng, the girl hung out with them at the playground for a while before she left, and she never came back home that night. The Cheng family reported Cheng missing, and there was a public appeal which sought information to trace her whereabouts. Nearly two weeks later, on 7 December 1977, Cheng's dead body was found abandoned under a manhole, with her decomposing body stuffed inside a gunny sack. Murder Of Nonoi
Nurasyura binte Mohamed Fauzi was a two-year-old Malay girl from Singapore who was raped and murdered. Nurasyura, better known as Nonoi, had gone missing on 1 March 2006, and a highly publicized search ensued; three days later her stepfather, Mohammed Ali bin Johari, confessed to what he claimed was an accidental death, and he led police to her body. An autopsy revealed that the girl was drowned to death and was sexually assaulted before her death. On 31 August 2007, after an 8-day hearing, the High Court found Mohammed Ali, who repeatedly denied raping Nonoi, guilty of murder and sentenced him to death. Leslie Khoo Kwee Hock
Leslie Khoo Kwee Hock (; born ) is a criminal from Singapore who was convicted of the murder of his Chinese girlfriend Cui Yajie (), with whom he had an extra-marital affair. Khoo, who had previously been criminally convicted for cheating and forgery, argued with his girlfriend in a car on 12 July 2016. The argument turned violent and Khoo strangled Cui in a moment of anger. Later, Khoo took Cui's corpse to a forest in Lim Chu Kang, where he burned the body for three days before he was arrested on 20 July 2016. Khoo was found guilty of murder three years after his arrest and sentenced to life imprisonment. Mandai Burnt Car Murder
On 30 November 1992, 32-year-old Tan Heng Hong (), a Singaporean odd-job labourer and loan shark, was murdered by two security guards, S. S. Asokan and Maniam Rathinswamy, who lured him to a room at Tan Tock Seng Hospital under the pretext of offering to sell gold. After he was slashed to death with an axe and a knife, Tan's corpse was left inside his car and both Maniam and Asokan drove the car to Mandai, where they set the car alight to cover up the murder. The burnt car and Tan's charred remains were eventually discovered, leading the police to investigate Tan's death. Killing Of Zabelle Peh
On 8 January 2023, inside her flat in Sembawang, Singapore, a two-month-old baby girl named Zabelle Peh Yu Xuan (白雨萱 Bái Yǔxuān) was assaulted and deliberately dropped into a cot, which fractured her skull. Peh's biological parents, Sim Liang Xiu (沈靓秀 Shěn Liàngxiù) and Peh Wei Jian (白伟健 Bái Wěijiàn), were arrested days after the assault and charged with voluntarily causing grievous hurt and child abuse respectively, and the alleged offenders and victim were originally not publicly named in the media due to a gag order. 2020 Jurong Child Killing
From March to November 2020, an 11-year-old Singaporean girl, whose name was withheld due to a gag order, was physically abused by her stepfather Mohamad Fazli Selamat and mother Roslinda Jamil inside their Jurong flat. The girl died on 10 November 2020, four days after Fazli used an exercise bar to batter her multiple times on the head, and Roslinda reportedly did not intervene. Fazli, an auxiliary police officer, and Roslinda were both arrested and charged with murder after the girl's death came to light. Yishun Infant Murder
On 8 November 2019, a nine-month-old baby boy named Izz Fayyaz Zayani Ahmad was murdered by 27-year-old Mohamed Aliff Mohamed Yusoff, the boyfriend of Izz's mother, who had Izz from her former marriage. Aliff was said to have inflicted traumatic head injuries on the boy by slamming his head against the floorboard of his newly bought van, and these injuries caused bleeding to the brain, which resulted in Izz's death, according to the autopsy report. Aliff tried to cover up his crime but he was arrested and charged with voluntarily causing grievous hurt, though the charge sheet was amended with the prosecution upgrading the hurt-related charge to capital murder.
