Rogel Lazaro Aguilera-Mederos
On April 25, 2019, a deadly traffic collision occurred on Interstate 70 near Lakewood, Colorado, United States, when a semi-trailer truck's brakes allegedly malfunctioned, causing the truck to crash into 12 cars and three other semi-trailer trucks, resulting in multiple fires and explosions, killing four people. The truck was driven by Rogel Lazaro Aguilera Mederos, who was later convicted of vehicular homicide. Incident Precursor crash Just after 4:00 p.m. MDT on April 25, 2019, an unrelated semi-trailer truck crashed into a Jefferson County Public Schools school bus on Interstate 70 at the Ward Road exit causing 10 injuries. This caused Interstate 70 to be closed eastbound from Ward Road (Exit 266) to Kipling Street (Exit 267), causing heavy backups all the way to Colorado Mills Parkway (Exit 263). Rodolfo Mederos
Rodolfo Mederos (born March 25, 1940) is an Argentine bandoneonist, composer and arranger. He lived in Cuba and France; in Argentina, he founded the experimental group Generación Cero. Early life Mederos was born in the Constitución neighbourhood of Buenos Aires. He spent his childhood in the province of Entre Ríos, and later went to the University of Córdoba to study biology. As a young man he was an admirer of fellow bandoneonist Ástor Piazzolla. He played with Piazzolla for several years before joining the Osvaldo Pugliese Orchestra, alongside other young musicians. 1960s After 1960 he formed his early groups to play at provincial radio stations and on television. When he heard Mederos's Octeto Guardia Nueva during one of his tours, Astor Piazzolla suggested that Mederos should travel to Buenos Aires. Manuel De Mederos
Manuel de Mederos (1539–1613) was a Portuguese explorer and settler who was active in the Spanish conquest of Mexico. He was one of the founders of the city of Saltillo, Coahuila and was the mayor of Monterrey. Early life and family Manuel Mederos's parents were Hernán Rodríguez Medero and Maria Manuela de Amona. He was born in 1539 on São Miguel Island, in the Azores. He moved to Spain in his youth. He arrived in New Spain in 1562. He was part of the expedition of Luis Carvajal y de la Cueva during the conquest of northern Mexico and was one of the original founders of the city of Saltillo, Coahuila, on July 25, 1577. He married Magdalena Martínez. Later life Captain de Mederos's hacienda was located south of the Villa of Saltillo, next to the properties of Alberto del Canto and Juan Alonso, close to Buenavista. Rene Mederos
Felix René Mederos Pazos (20 November 1933 – 24 September 1996) was a prominent Cuban poster artist and graphic designer. Mederos, a self-taught artist from Sagua la Grande, began work in a Havana Printer (publisher), printshop in 1944 and was appointed Chief Designer for Cuba's principal television station in 1959. In 1964, at the beginning of the new wave of Cuban graphic design, Mederos began creating his first posters as head of the design team of the propaganda organization Intercommunications. In 1969 Mederos was assigned by DOR (The Department of Revolutionary Orientation) to travel to Vietnam to paint scenes of Vietnam War, the war.
