Maze Circuit
A maze is a path or collection of paths, typically from an entrance to a goal. The word is used to refer both to branching tour puzzles through which the solver must find a route, and to simpler non-branching ("unicursal") patterns that lead unambiguously through a convoluted layout to a goal. The term "labyrinth" is generally synonymous with "maze", but can also connote specifically a unicursal pattern. The pathways and walls in a maze are typically fixed, but puzzles in which the walls and paths can change during the game are also categorised as mazes or tour puzzles. Construction Mazes have been built with a variety of materials. Some are relatively permanent, like hedges, turf, walls, rooms, tiles, and paving stones or bricks. Longleat Maze
Longleat is a stately home about west of Warminster in Wiltshire, England. A leading and early example of the Elizabethan era, Elizabethan prodigy house, it is a Listed building, Grade I listed building and the seat of the Marquess of Bath, Marquesses of Bath. Longleat is set in of parkland landscaped by Capability Brown, along with of let farmland and of woodland, which includes a Center Parcs Longleat Forest, Center Parcs holiday village. It was the first stately home to open to the public, and the Longleat estate has the first safari park outside Africa and other attractions including a hedge maze. The house was built by Sir John Thynne and designed mainly by Robert Smythson, after Longleat Priory was destroyed by fire in 1567. It took 12 years to complete and is widely regarded as one of the finest examples of Elizabethan architecture in Britain.
