Maurie Annese
Maurie Annese is an Australians, Australian actor and producer. He most recently starred in and co-produced ''I Can't Believe it's Not Countdown, it's a Musical Comedy'', in collaboration with Brian Mannix and Crown Entertainment. In 2002 during Melbourne’s Mid Summer Festival he produced the sell out hit musical “I Should Be So Lucky” at Chapel Off Chapel in collaboration with writer, director and co-producer David Knox. Recent television appearances include playing the character Sophos in Dead Gorgeous (2010), the List of Rush episodes, Rush episode ''Freedom'' and as host in his own T.V show in 2004, ''The National Karaoke Challenge'' on SBS. Brian Mannix
Brian Mannix (born 7 October 1961 in Melbourne) is an Australian rock music singer and actor. He is best known as the lead singer of 1980s band Uncanny X-Men. He was a regular on television quiz show '' Spicks and Specks''. Career 1981–1987: Uncanny X-Men From 1981 to 1987, Mannix was the lead singer of Australian band Uncanny X-Men. The band released two top twenty albums, '' 'Cos Life Hurts'' and '' What You Give Is What You Get''. ''Dead Gorgeous'' is a 2010 children's supernatural fantasy television show which premiered on 15 March 2010 in Britain and 5 April 2010 in Australia. ''Love and Other Catastrophes'' is a quirky 1996 Australian romantic comedy film featuring Frances O'Connor, Radha Mitchell, Alice Garner, Matthew Dyktynski, Matt Day and Kym Gyngell.
