Matthew NeSmith (born September 29, 1993) is an American professional golfer. Amateur career NeSmith was born in North Augusta, South Carolina. He won the 2011 Junior Heritage and the 2015 Players Amateur. Korn Ferry Tour On the 2019 Korn Ferry Tour, NeSmith won the Albertsons Boise Open to secure his PGA Tour card. PGA Tour After the first round, NeSmith held the lead at the 2021 Phoenix Open. NeSmith ended the tournament tied in seventh. North Augusta, South Carolina
North Augusta is a city in Aiken and Edgefield counties in the U.S. state of South Carolina, on the north bank of the Savannah River. It lies directly across the river, and state border, from Augusta, Georgia. The population was 24,379 at the 2020 census, making it the 21st-most populous city in South Carolina. Brandon Cardell Hagy (born March 21, 1991) is an American professional golfer. In college, he competed for the California Golden Bears. While there, he won the 2014 Byron Nelson Award. After turning pro in 2014, Hagy competed in Web.com Tour Q School but failed to advance to the final stage, and therefore had no status on any major tour in 2015. Through sponsor exemptions and Monday qualifying, he made six starts in 2015 on the Web.com Tour and eight on the PGA Tour, including the 2015 U.S. Open, for which he earned a spot through local and sectional qualifying. The Players Championship
The Players Championship (commonly known as simply The Players, stylized by the PGA Tour as THE PLAYERS Championship) is an annual golf tournament on the PGA Tour. Originally known as the Tournament Players Championship, it began in 1974. The Players Championship at one point offered the highest purse of any tournament in golf (from $12.5 million in 2019 up to $25 million in 2023). The Masters Tournament (usually referred to as simply the Masters, or as the U.S. Masters outside North America) is one of the four men's major championships in professional golf. Early life and amateur career Hoey was born in Manila, Philippines and moved to Rancho Cucamonga, California at a young age. Pierceson Coody ( ; born January 7, 2000) is an American professional golfer who currently plays on the PGA Tour. Amateur career Coody had a successful amateur career before and during college.
