Harry Hall (golfer)
Harry Philip Bowden Hall (born 6 August 1997) is an English professional golfer who currently plays on the PGA Tour. Amateur career Hall attended the University of Nevada-Las Vegas from 2015 to 2019. Professional career Hall turned professional in 2019. He played on the Korn Ferry Tour from 2020 to 2022. He won twice on the Korn Ferry Tour; at the 2021 Wichita Open and the 2022 NV5 Invitational. He gained a PGA Tour card for the 2022–23 season via the Korn Ferry Tour regular season. He won his first PGA Tour title at the 2024 ISCO Championship in July. Camborne
Camborne (from Cornish language, Cornish ''Cambron'', "crooked hill") is a town in Cornwall, England. The population at the 2011 Census was 20,845. The northern edge of the parish includes a section of the South West Coast Path, Hell's Mouth, Cornwall, Hell's Mouth and Deadman's Cove. Matthew NeSmith (born September 29, 1993) is an American professional golfer. Amateur career NeSmith was born in North Augusta, South Carolina. He won the 2011 Junior Heritage and the 2015 Players Amateur. Korn Ferry Tour On the 2019 Korn Ferry Tour, NeSmith won the Albertsons Boise Open to secure his PGA Tour card. 2017 Arnold Palmer Cup
The 2017 Arnold Palmer Cup was a team golf competition held from June 9–11, 2017 at Atlanta Athletic Club in Johns Creek, Georgia, United States. The 21st playing of the Arnold Palmer Cup, it was the first since the death of namesake Arnold Palmer. The score was level at 5 points each after the first day but the United States team won 9 of the 10 singles matches on the second day and halved the other. This gave them an overwhelming lead, needing just 1 point from 10 singles matches on the final day to win the match. The second set of singles was split 5–5, to give the United States a comfortable 19½–10½ victory in the match. Arnold Palmer Cup
The Arnold Palmer Cup is an annual team golf competition for college/university golfers. It is named for Arnold Palmer. From 2018 it has been contested between a United States team and an International team representing the rest of the world. The teams consist of 12 men and 12 women. The teams are selected on the basis of nationality, not according to the location of the players' universities. The 2025 event was held from June 5 to 7 at Congaree Golf Club, in Gillisonville, South Carolina. History From its foundation in 1997 until 2017 the event was only contested by men. European Boys' Team Championship
The European Boys' Team Championship (Jean-Louis Dupont Trophy) is a European amateur team golf championship for men up to 18 organized by the European Golf Association. The inaugural event was held in 1980 and it has been played annually since. Since the European Youths' Team Championship, for men under 22, was discontinued in 2006, due to the trend of players reaching elite level at an earlier age, the European Boys' Team Championship has been regarded as the most important junior team event in Europe outside the British Isles. The Players Championship
The Players Championship (commonly known as simply The Players, stylized by the PGA Tour as THE PLAYERS Championship) is an annual golf tournament on the PGA Tour. Originally known as the Tournament Players Championship, it began in 1974. The Players Championship at one point offered the highest purse of any tournament in golf (from $12.5 million in 2019 up to $25 million in 2023). The field usually includes the top 50 players in the world rankings, but, unlike the major championships, it is owned by the PGA Tour and not an official event on other tours. The PGA Championship (often referred to as the US PGA Championship or USPGA outside the United States) is an annual golf tournament conducted by the Professional Golfers' Association of America. The Masters Tournament (usually referred to as simply the Masters, or as the U.S. Masters outside North America) is one of the four men's major championships in professional golf. Scheduled for the first full week in April, the Masters is the first major golf tournament of the year.
