Matt Hackett
Matthew Hackett (born March 7, 1990) is a Canadian former ice hockey goaltender. He played 26 games in the National Hockey League with the Minnesota Wild and Buffalo Sabres between 2011 and 2015. The rest of his career, which lasted from 2010 to 2020, was mainly spent in the minor American Hockey League. He was selected by the Minnesota Wild in the 3rd round (77th overall) of the 2009 NHL Entry Draft. Matt is a nephew to former NHL goaltender Jeff Hackett. Playing career Hackett was called up to the NHL as a backup to Josh Harding on November 23, 2011, for a game against the Nashville Predators after Niklas Bäckström missed the game for personal reasons. In case Hackett did not arrive at the game in time (from his assignment with the Houston Aeros), 51-year-old recreational goaltender Paul Deutsch was signed to an amateur tryout contract, but was eventually scratched as Hackett served as the backup. Rochester Americans
The Rochester Americans (colloquially known as the Amerks) are a professional ice hockey team based in Rochester, New York. They are the American Hockey League affiliate of the National Hockey League's Buffalo Sabres. The team plays its home games at the Blue Cross Arena at the War Memorial. The Americans are the fourth oldest franchise in the AHL, and have the second longest continuous tenure among AHL teams in their current locations after the Hershey Bears. Rochester was awarded a new franchise in June 1956, when the Pittsburgh Hornets were forced to suspend operations after their arena, the Duquesne Gardens was razed in an urban renewal project. Niklas Bäckström
Niklas Oskar Bäckström (; born 13 February 1978) is a Finnish former professional ice hockey goaltender and current goaltending coach for the Columbus Blue Jackets. He played ten seasons for the Minnesota Wild and Calgary Flames in the National Hockey League (NHL), during which he won both the William M. Jennings Trophy and Roger Crozier Saving Grace Award. He also has won both Urpo Ylönen trophy and Jari Kurri trophy twice. Bäckström is a Swedish-speaking Finn, but also speaks Finnish language, Finnish. Jhonas Enroth
Jhonas Erik Enroth (born 25 June 1988), is a Swedish professional ice hockey goaltender, who is currently playing with Örebro HK of the Swedish Hockey League (SHL). He played in the National Hockey League (NHL) for the Buffalo Sabres, Dallas Stars, Los Angeles Kings and Toronto Maple Leafs between 2009 and 2016. Michal Neuvirth ( , ; born 23 March 1988) is a Czech former professional ice hockey goaltender. He played for the Washington Capitals, New York Islanders, Buffalo Sabres, and Philadelphia Flyers in the National Hockey League (NHL). Chris Mason (ice Hockey)
Christopher Robert Mason (born April 20, 1976) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey goaltender and current color commentator for the Nashville Predators on Bally Sports South. After being drafted by the New Jersey Devils in the 1995 NHL entry draft, Mason spent 10 years playing for the Nashville Predators, Atlanta Thrashers/Winnipeg Jets, and St. Louis Blues. 2013 Spengler Cup
The 2013 Spengler Cup was held in Davos, Switzerland from 26 to 31 December 2013. All matches were played at HC Davos's home known as Vaillant Arena. Six competing teams were split into two groups of three. Jason John Pominville (born November 30, 1982) is a Canadian- American former professional ice hockey right winger. He played for the Buffalo Sabres and the Minnesota Wild of the National Hockey League (NHL).
