Massimo Di Ioia
Massimo Di Ioia (born June 18, 1987 in Saint-Léonard, Quebec) is a Canadian former soccer player. Di Ioia was part of the Canadian National Under 20 team and Olympic Under 23 team. He played the majority of his career in the Canadian province of Quebec with notable stints in the Ligue de Soccer Elite Quebec, USL First Division, Canadian Soccer League, and the Première Ligue de soccer du Québec. He was most recently part of the Montreal Impact Major League Soccer technical staff that led the team for the first time in club history to the 2016 MLS Cup Playoffs Eastern Conference Finals. Career He began playing in the Ligue de Soccer Elite Quebec for CSE Montreal-Concordia in 2003. Saint-Leonard ( ; french: Saint-Léonard ) is a borough (''arrondissement'') of Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Formerly a separate city, it was amalgamated into the city of Montreal in 2002. The Canadian Soccer League (CSL; french: Ligue canadienne de soccer — LCS) is a semi-professional league for Canadian soccer clubs primarily located in the province of Ontario, and claims the history of the Canadian National Soccer League (CNSL). USL League Two (USL2), formerly the Premier Development League (PDL), is a semi-professional developmental soccer league sponsored by United Soccer Leagues in the United States and Canada, forming part of the United States soccer league system. Serbian White Eagles FC
Serbian White Eagles Football Club ( sr, Фудбалски клуб Српски бели орлови / ''Fudbalski klub Srpski beli orlovi'') is a Canadian soccer team. The team is a member of the Canadian Soccer League, an unsanctioned soccer league. The team's home kit is all white commemorating the white double-headed eagle which appears on the Serbian flag while the away colours are red-blue-white commemorating the tricolour of the Serbian flag. CSL Championship
The Canadian Soccer League championship final or CSL Championship is the post-season match of the Canadian Soccer League (CSL) and is the successor to the CNSL Championship. The winner is crowned champion in the same manner as in other North American sports leagues (i.e. via a playoff following a regular season). Voyageurs Cup
The Voyageurs Cup (french: Coupe des Voyageurs) is the domestic trophy for professional soccer in Canada, awarded to the best men's and women's clubs in the country. The Cup was conceived and commissioned by fans of the Canada men's national team, the Voyageurs, in 2002. From 2002 to 2007, the cup was awarded annually to the Canadian team finishing with the best record in the USL First Division, from regular-season matches against other Canadian teams in the league. Patrick Leduc
Patrick Leduc (born December 26, 1977 in Saint-Lambert, Quebec) is a Canadian soccer player who formerly played for Montreal Impact in the USSF Division 2 Professional League. Career Youth and amateur Before turning pro Leduc played amateur soccer with FC Sélect Rive-Sud in the Ligue de Soccer Elite Quebec. He also played for U15 and U17 Quebec select teams winning two silver medals, and later played for Twin Cities Tornado in the USL Premier Development League in 1998 and 1999. Professional Leduc was signed by Montreal Impact of the USL First Division in 2000, but in his first two seasons was a bit-player, featuring in only a handful of games. The Charleston Battery are an American professional association football, soccer club based in Charleston, South Carolina, and member of the USL Championship. The Canada Games (french: Jeux du Canada) is a multi-sport event held every two years, alternating between the Canada Winter Games and the Canada Summer Games. They represent the highest level of national competition for Canadian athletes. Two separate programs are organized in order to cover the seasons of summer and winter: the Canada Summer Games and the Canada Winter Games. The 2016 MLS Cup Playoffs (branded as the 2016 Audi MLS Cup Playoffs for sponsorship reasons) began on October 26, and ended on December 10 with MLS Cup 2016, the 21st league championship match for MLS. This was the 21st version of the MLS Cup Playoffs, the tournament culminating the Major League Soccer regular season. Twelve teams (the top 6 per conference) competed.
