María José Alvarado
María José Alvarado Muñoz (19 July 1995 – 13 November 2014) was a Honduran beauty pageant titleholder and television host who was Miss Honduras 2014. Biography María José Alvarado Muñoz was born on 19 July 1995, in Santa Bárbara, Honduras. Prior to her beauty pageant debut, she was a contestant on X-O da dinero. In December 2014 she had been scheduled to compete at the Miss World 2014 contest in London, but was murdered prior to the event. On the night of 13 November, 2014, Alvarado and her older sister, Sofía Trinidad Alvarado Muñoz, disappeared after leaving a party in Santa Bárbara, Honduras. According to witnesses she stepped into a car without license plates. On 19 November, the same day Alvarado had been expected to travel to London, the sisters' bodies were found. Julia Evelyn Morley (née Pritchard; born 25 October 1939) is an English businesswoman, charity worker and former model. She is the chairman and CEO of the Miss World Organization, which organizes the Miss World and Mister World pageants. She is the widow of Miss World creator, the late Eric Morley who organized the pageant from its inception in July 1951, until his death in 2000.
