The Miss Honduras or Miss Honduras Universe (also, known as Señorita Honduras) is a national beauty pageant in Honduras. The pageant was founded in 1930, where the winners were sent to Miss Universe. A beauty pageant is a competition in which the contestants are judged and ranked based on various physical and mental attributes. Colón is one of the 18 Departments of Honduras, departments into which Honduras is divided. It was created in 1881.
