Marzi-ul Huq
Marzi-ul Huq was a Justice of the High Court Division of the Bangladesh Supreme Court. Career In November 2001, Huq and Justice Md Abdul Matin issued an order asking the government to protect the Hindu community, a religious minority, and sought clarification regarding the government's role following a petition by the Ain-O-Salish Kendra. The order came following the victory of Bangladesh Nationalist Party in the 2001 Bangladeshi general election and start of the 2001 Bangladesh post-election violence. Huq was appointed additional Judge of the High Court Division near the end of the Awami League government term in 2001. Despite the recommendation of the chief justice, Huq and other judges appointed by the Awami League government were not made permanent judges of the High Court Division by the newly elected Bangladesh Nationalist Party breaking tradition. The High Court Division, Supreme Court of Bangladesh ( bn, হাইকোর্ট ডিভিশন) popularly known as the 'High Court' is one of the two divisions of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh, the other division being the Appellate Division. It consists of the Chief Justice of Bangladesh and the Judges of the High Court Division. The High Court Division exercises both original jurisdiction and appellate jurisdiction in civil and criminal matters. The prime jurisdiction of it is the Writ Jurisdiction, pursuant to which it is empowered under article 102 of the Constitution of Bangladesh to issue writ of certiorari, mandamus, quo warranto, prohibition and habeas corpus. Anwar Hossain Manju (born 9 February 1944) is a Bangladeshi politician who is the incumbent Jatiya Sangsad member representing Pirojpur-2 constituency which consists of Kawkhali, Bhandaria and Zianagar upazilas. AN Mahfuza Khatun (known as Baby Maudud; 23 June 1948 – 25 July 2014) was a Bangladeshi journalist, politician, and writer. She was a member of parliament of Bangladesh Jatiya Sangsad. Biography Maudud was born on 23 June 1948 in Kolkata, India to Hedayet-un-Nisa and Abdul Maudud, a justice. She was the third among six brothers and three sisters. Maudud started working as a journalist in 1967, while a student at the University of Dhaka. Md Nizamul Huq
Mohammed Nizamul Huq Nassim (born 15 March 1950), (Anglicized also as: Nizamul Haque Nasim or as Nizamul Haque Nizam) was a judge of the High Court Division of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh..
