Martin Nevland
Martin Nevland (born 16 June 2001) is a Norwegian biathlete. He is a seven-time youth and junior world champion. Career Martin Nevland was already successful in cross-country skiing in 2018, finishing second among over 100 participants at the national junior championships. He made his international debut in biathlon at the 2019 Youth Olympic Festival, where he missed Top-10 finishes. The following year, he participated in the 2020 Junior World Championships in Lenzerheide and immediately achieved success. He secured 4th place in the sprint and won the individual, pursuit, and relay races convincingly with Martin Uldal and Morten Tørblad Sameien. Two years later, he returned to the Junior World Championships and once again became a double world champion, winning gold in the sprint and pursuit. Ålgård
Ålgård (historic: ''Aalgaard'') is the administrative centre of Gjesdal municipality in Rogaland county, Norway. The village is located along the European route E39 highway, about southeast of the Sandnes (town), city of Sandnes in the Jæren district of the county. The International Biathlon Union (IBU; ) is the international governing body of biathlon. Its headquarters were in Salzburg, Austria, until May 2020, when the Federation moved to Anif, on the outskirts of the city. Karoline Erdal (born 15 November 1997) is a Norwegian biathlete. Two-time junior biathlon world champion and two-time European biathlon champion. Made her debut in the World Cup in 2016. Achieved victory in 13 races at the IBU Cup. Career Erdal made her debut in the World Cup during the 2016/17 season at the stage in Ostersund, finishing 82nd in the individual race. Mats Øverby
Mats Øverby (born 13 May 2000) is a Norwegian biathlete. He won the overall IBU Cup title in the 2023–24 season. Career Mats Øverby had his first international appearances at the 2021 Junior World Championships in Obertilliach, Austria, where he narrowly missed a medal in the individual event, finishing fourth, and won silver in the relay event with Simen Kvarme, Fredrik Grusd, and Jørgen Sæter. The following year, he participated in the Junior World Championships in Soldier Hollow, Utah, and once again secured a medal with the relay team. Taking advantage of the absence of most top athletes at the Norwegian Championships, Øverby won bronze in the sprint and with the relay team. Johan-Olav Smørdal Botn (born 18 June 1999) is a Norwegian biathlete. He made his Biathlon World Cup debut in 2024. Career Botn made his international debut relatively late in November 2021, securing the 32nd position in the IBU Cup sprint in Idre. Following another appearance in January, he was subsequently excluded from the squad. During the winter of 2022/23, the Norwegian participated in the initial races in early December, achieving his first top-10 result with an 8th place in the individual competition. Isak Leknes Frey (born 28 August 2003) is a Norwegian biathlete. Career Isak Frey gained his initial international exposure in January 2020 as a member of the Norwegian team at the Youth Olympic Games. However, despite his participation, he did not secure a medal due to several shooting misses.
