Johan-Olav Botn
Johan-Olav Smørdal Botn (born 18 June 1999) is a Norwegian biathlete. He made his Biathlon World Cup debut in 2024. Career Botn made his international debut relatively late in November 2021, securing the 32nd position in the IBU Cup sprint in Idre. Following another appearance in January, he was subsequently excluded from the squad. During the winter of 2022/23, the Norwegian participated in the initial races in early December, achieving his first top-10 result with an 8th place in the individual competition. Due to Erlend Bjøntegaard's decision to waive his starting rights, Botn received the reserve starting position for the season finale in Canmore and secured podium finishes in both sprint races. His standout performance, however, occurred in the final race of the season, the pursuit competition, where he claimed his first IBU Cup victory with a lead of over a minute over Vebjørn Sørum. Stårheim
Stårheim (or ''Torvika'') is a village in the municipality of Stad in Vestland county, Norway. Stårheim is located in the central part of Stad Municipality on the north shore of the Nordfjorden, about west of the municipal center of Nordfjordeid and about east of the village of Kjølsdalen. Johannes Thingnes Bø (born 16 May 1993) is a former Norwegians, Norwegian Biathlon, biathlete who has achieved significant success in the sport. Thingnes Bø has won the Biathlon World Cup five times, in the 2018-19 Biathlon World Cup, 2018/19, 2019–20 Biathlon World Cup, 2019/20, 2020–21 Biathlon World Cup, 2020/21, 2022–23 Biathlon World Cup, 2022/23, and 2023–24 Biathlon World Cup, 2023/24 seasons. Soldier Hollow
Soldier Hollow is a cross-country ski venue located at the mouth of a hollow of the same name about southeast of Salt Lake City in Wasatch Mountain State Park in northwestern Wasatch County, Utah, United States. The venue was created for the 2002 Winter Olympics and hosted the biathlon, cross-country skiing, and the cross country skiing portion of the Nordic combined events, a role it is expected to reprise for the 2034 Winter Olympics. 2023–24 Biathlon World Cup
The 2023–24 Biathlon World Cup ''(official: BMW IBU World Cup Biathlon)'' was a multi-race series over a season of biathlon, organised by the International Biathlon Union (IBU). It was the 47th edition for men and 42nd edition for women of the highest international race series in biathlon. The season started on 25 November 2023 in Östersund, Sweden and concluded on 17 March 2024 in Canmore, Canada. The highlight of the season were the 2024 Biathlon World Championships in Nové Město na Moravě, Czech Republic, whose results were not included in the World Cup standings (except for the national standings). Vebjørn Sørum (born 11 August 1998) is a Norwegian biathlete. He has competed in the Biathlon World Cup since 2023. Career Vebjørn Sørum began his international career in 2017 at the Junior World Championships in Brezno. After finishing 39th in the individual event, 27th in the sprint, and making a remarkable comeback in the pursuit (8th place), he won the world title in the young men's relay, alongside Jorgen Krogsaeter and Sivert Guttorm Bakken.
