Marquay McDaniel
Marquay McDaniel (born April 20, 1984) is the receivers coach for the Saskatchewan Roughriders of the Canadian Football League (CFL). He is a former professional Canadian football wide receiver who played for 10 seasons in the CFL, six with the Calgary Stampeders and four with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats. He was originally signed by the Denver Broncos as an undrafted free agent in 2007. McDaniel was named a CFL All-Star in 2013, and won a Grey Cup championship in 2014. He played college football for the Hampton Pirates. Professional career Hamilton Tiger-Cats In his rookie season McDaniel played in all 18 games and led the CFL with 2,535 all-purpose yards. He had 688 yards and three touchdowns on 57 receptions, 1,153 yards on 57 kickoff returns, 615 yards on 73 punt returns and 79 yards on five missed-field goal returns. 2015 Calgary Stampeders Season
The 2015 Calgary Stampeders season was the 58th season for the team in the Canadian Football League and their 81st overall. The 2014 Calgary Stampeders season was the 57th season for the team in the Canadian Football League and their 80th overall. The Stampeders finished first in the West Division for the second straight season for the first time since the 1996 season. The 2012 Calgary Stampeders season was the 55th season for the team in the Canadian Football League and their 74th overall. The Stampeders finished in second place in the West Division with a 12–6 record. The Stampeders won the West Semi-Final over the Saskatchewan Roughriders by a score of 36–30, earning their first playoff victory over Saskatchewan since 1994. 2011 Hamilton Tiger-Cats Season
The 2011 Hamilton Tiger-Cats season was the 54th season for the team in the Canadian Football League and their 62nd overall. The Tiger-Cats finished third place in the East Division with an 8–10 record. After hosting the East Semi-Final in 2009 and 2010 with no success, the Tiger-Cats had to go on the road for the 2011 playoffs since they finished third in the East. In the East Semi-Final, the Ti-Cats upset the two-time defending Grey Cup champions, Montreal Alouettes, 52–44 in overtime, giving them their first playoff victory since 2001.
