Markus Giesecke (born 15 April 1979) is a German futsal player from Regensburg, Germany who plays for SpVgg Kaufbeuren, Futsal Allgaeu, a futsal club based in Kaufbeuren, Germany. Club career He started playing futsal in Spain and England and was signed by Futsal Club Regensburg in 2014 to play in the newly founded Futsal-Bayernliga, where he made his debut in Regensburg's 5-4 victory over SpVgg Bayreuth on matchday 3. In the winter break 2015/16 he was transferred to then Futsal-Regionalliga Süd, first division side TV Wackersdorf. He came from the bench in Wackersdorf's 9-4 victory over Cosmos Hoechst on the last matchday and appeared in a total of 14 matches during his two-season spell with the Upper Palatinate club. 1. FC Germania 08 Ober-Roden is a German association football club from Ober-Roden one of five former villages that today make up the town of Rödermark, Hesse. History The club was established on 10 April 1908 by a group of two dozen young men at the ''Zum Schützenhof'' restaurant. Minifootball (sometimes spelled mini-football and called minifoot) is a small-sided variation of association football. Minifootball is played in 5-a-side format, with additional variants of 6-a-side, 7-a-side, 8-a-side, 9-a-side and indoor football. All games are played on artificial turf, in contrast to futsal which is played on a hard court indoors. The Segunda División B de Futsal formerly known as ''Primera Nacional A'' is the third professional futsal pyramid in Spain. It was founded in 1989 and is managed by the CNFS of the Royal Spanish Football Federation. The ''Segunda División B de Futsal'' consists in 9 groups. Every group corresponds to one or two Spanish regions. There are in total 147 approx. teams. When finishing the regular season in every group, the top team of each group and the four runners-up with highest scores play the promotion playoffs to Segunda División. The Mitropa Futsal Cup is an annual futsal competition and considered one of the most important European futsal tournaments. It is a preparation tournament for the UEFA Futsal Cup and takes place every year at a different venue in Central Europe. The name derives from the famous Mitropa Cup football competition, which was played between 1927 and 1992.
