Marko Mitev
Marko Mitev (born 23 February 2003) is a Macedonian handball player who plays as a centre back for RK Alkaloid and the North Macedonia men's national handball team. Early life and background Born in Skopje, North Macedonia, Mitev began playing handball at a very young age. He started training at the age of 9 at RK Aerodrom under coach Darko Petrovski. He recalled that the team play, physical contact, and fighting spirit were the key factors that led him to choose handball. This early foundation laid the groundwork for his technical and tactical development. Club career RK Aerodrom (2012–2020) Mitev spent his formative years at RK Aerodrom, progressing through the youth system before being promoted to the senior team in 2018 at the age of 15. The 2025 IHF World Men's Handball Championship, will be the 29th event hosted by the International Handball Federation. It will be held in Croatia, Denmark and Norway in January 2025.
