Mark Docherty (politician)
Mark Docherty is a Canadian politician, who represented the district of Regina Coronation Park in the Saskatchewan Legislative Assembly as a member of the Saskatchewan Party from 2011 to 2023. Docherty served as Speaker of the Legislative Assembly from 2018 to 2020. Political career Docherty was first elected to the Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan in the 2011 general election. He was re-elected in the 2016 and 2020 provincial elections. Docherty served in Brad Wall's cabinet as Minister of Parks, Culture, and Sport from 2014 to 2016. In the 2018 leadership race to replace the retiring Wall, Docherty supported Gordon Wyant. Wyant was eliminated on the third ballot in an election won by Scott Moe. In March 2018, Docherty was elected Speaker of the Legislative Assembly after the resignation of former Speaker Corey Tochor. Brad Wall
Bradley John Wall (born November 24, 1965) is a former Canadian politician who served as the 14th premier of Saskatchewan from November 21, 2007, until February 2, 2018. He is the fourth longest-tenured premier in the province's history. Wall was first elected to the Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan as the member (MLA) for Swift Current in 1999 and he was re-elected four times, in 2003, 2007, 2011, and 2016. CKOM
CKOM is a radio station in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada broadcasting on 650 kHz. Its format is news/ talk. It shares studio space with sister stations CFMC-FM and CJDJ-FM at 715 Saskatchewan Crescent West, also the home of Rawlco Radio's Corporate Offices. History CKOM began broadcasting on 1340 kHz on June 8, 1951 with an output of 250 watts and its offices were based out of the historic Empire Hotel. By 1960, CKOM was broadcasting full-time on the AM frequency of 1250 kHz with an increase in power to 10,000 watts. During the earlier part of the decade, the station became a Top 40 station. In early August 1985, the station was sold to Rawlco Communications and changed frequencies to 650 kHz. At the time, the station continued to air in its Top 40 format. Carla Beck
Carla Beck (born October 15, 1973) is a Canadian politician who has served as leader of the Saskatchewan New Democratic Party and Saskatchewan's Official Opposition since 2022. Beck was first elected to the Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan for the district of Regina Lakeview in the 2016 Saskatchewan general election, 2016 provincial election. Beck is the first elected female leader of the Saskatchewan NDP. Background and early career Beck was born in Weyburn and grew up on a mixed farm near Lang, Saskatchewan. Glen Philip Hart (born July 31, 1946) is a Canadian provincial politician. He was a Saskatchewan Party member of the Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan and represented the constituency of Last Mountain-Touchwood from 1999 to 2020. The 2020 Saskatchewan general election was held on October 26, 2020 to elect members of the Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan. This date was set by Saskatchewan's fixed election date law. The writ was dropped on September 29 just in time to hold the election on October 26. Scott Moe (born July 31, 1973) is a Canadian politician serving as the 15th and current premier of Saskatchewan since February 2, 2018.
