Marita Engzelius
Marita Engzelius (born 9 February 1988) is a retired Norwegian professional golfer, who played on the Symetra Tour and the Ladies European Tour. She won the Symetra Tour Championship and was runner-up at the New South Wales Women's Open. Amateur career Engzelius won the Norwegian National Golf Championship three times (2007, 2010 and 2012) and was awarded the ''Kongepokal''. She represented Norway at the Espirito Santo Trophy in 2010 and 2012. Playing golf at the University of Tulsa between 2009 and 2012, she was a three-time All-Conference USA selection. Professional career Engzelius turned professional after finishing 24th at the LPGA Final Qualifying Tournament in December 2012, where she earned a place on the Symetra Tour and limited category for the 2013 LPGA Tour. Meghan MacLaren (born 15 May 1994) is an English professional golfer and Ladies European Tour player. 2018 European Golf Team Championships
The 2018 European Golf Team Championships was a golf tournament played in August 2018 at Gleneagles, Scotland. It was the inaugural event and consisted of three competitions – men's, women's and mixed team format. 16 two-player teams took part in both men's and women's competitions. The event was part of the 2018 European Championships, the inaugural edition of the European Championships, a multi-sport event which took place in Berlin, Germany, and Glasgow, Scotland from 2 to 12 August 2018. The European Championships is a multi-sport tournament which brings together the existing European Championships of some of the continent's leading sports every four years. The inaugural edition in 2018 was staged by the host cities of Berlin, Germany and Glasgow, Scotland, United Kingdom between 2 and 12 August. The second edition in 2022 took place in Munich, Germany. The 2010 European Ladies' Team Championship took place 6–10 July at La Manga Club in Cartagena, Spain. It was the 28th women's golf amateur European Ladies' Team Championship. European Ladies' Team Championship
The European Ladies' Team Championship is a European amateur team golf championship for women organised by the European Golf Association. The inaugural event was held in 1959. It was played in odd-numbered years from 1959 to 2007 and has been played annually since 2008 (with the exception of 2012). Format Currently, the championship is contested by up to 20 teams, each of 6 players. The format consists of two rounds of strokeplay, out of which the five lowest scores from each team's six players will count each day. The total addition of the five lowest scores will constitute the team's score and determine the teams qualified for the last three rounds of matchplay. Emma Nilsson (golfer)
Emma Nilsson (born 8 March 1994) is a Swedish professional golfer and member of the Ladies European Tour. She was runner-up at the 2020 South African Women's Open. Family and early life Nilsson was born in Kristianstad 1994. Her sister Sarah Nilsson, born in 1997, is also a professional golfer and was a Ladies European Tour rookie in 2017. Amateur career As an amateur Nilsson won the Swedish Junior Strokeplay Championship in 2008, and finished 3rd at the Swedish Junior Matchplay Championship in 2011. She was runner-up at the Spanish International Ladies Amateur Championship in 2010, and 3rd in 2012. She also finished 3rd at the 2011 British Girls Open and 4th at the 2012 German Girls Open. 2018 LET Access Series
The 2018 LET Access Series was a series of professional women's golf tournaments held from April through November 2018 across Europe. The LET Access Series is the second-tier women's professional golf tour in Europe and is the official developmental tour of the Ladies European Tour. The Jabra Ladies Open, held at the Evian Resort Golf Club in France and since 2014 the European qualifying competition for the Evian Championship, became the tour's first dual-ranking event with the LET.
