Marisa Solinas
Marisa Anna Solinas (30 May 1939 – 12 February 2019), best known as Marisa Solinas, was an Italian actress and singer. Life Born in Genoa to a Sardinian father and a Tuscan mother from Garfagnana. In her teen years, she dreamed about becoming an opera singer and enrolled in Teatro Carlo Felice. Later she decided to concentrate on the pop music genre, in 1960, accompanied by mother, she transferred to Milan, where she made her film debut in 1961. The first big success to her career happened a year later, when she was spotted by Mario Monicelli and cast to be the main actress in "''Renzo e Luciana''", one of the four episodes of ''Boccaccio '70''; the same year she appeared in Bernardo Bertolucci's film debut, ''La commare secca'' and acted on stage in ''Fogli d'album'' at the Festival dei Due Mondi. Renato Dall'Ara (10 October 1892 in Reggio Emilia – 3 June 1964 in Milan) was an Italian entrepreneur, sports manager, and chairman of Bologna for thirty years. Biography An entrepreneur of modest origins, Dall'Ara went from his native Reggio Emilia to Bologna, starting a thriving knitwear company that made him wealthy. In 1934, he was appointed as president of football club Bologna. During the first years of his presidency, between 1934 and 1941, the team (led until 1938 by the Hungarian coach Árpád Weisz) won four league titles and the Coupe des Nations in Paris in 1937 ( it). Ferdinando Baldi (19 May 1927 – 12 November 2007) was an Italian film director and screenwriter. Throughout his career he used a number of pseudonyms, including Ted Kaplan, Ferdy Baldwin and Sam Livingstone. Biography Baldi was born in Cava de' Tirreni, Salerno, on 19 May 1927. He was employed as a teacher after getting a degree in literature, but he got involved in cinema thanks to his acquaintance with Italian producer Tiziano Longo and he produced his first movie, Il Prezzo dell'onore in 1952. ''Blindman'' (also known in Italian as ''Il Pistolero Cieco'', lit. Nanni Loy (born Giovanni Loi; 23 October 1925 – 21 August 1995) was an Italian film, theatre and TV director. Specifically, Nanni Loy was Sardinian people, Sardinian, and one of several notable Sardinian film makers, including Franco Solinas. Mario Amendola
Mario Natalino Concetto Amendola (8 December 1910 – 22 December 1993) was an Italian screenwriter, film director and dramatist. Biography Amendola was born in Recco, which is located in Genova to parents from Rome. He began his career on stage in 1931 as a writer for avanspettacolo shows. During that time, he wrote dialogue for Erminio Macario, Totò and more. He ended this profession and moved to cinema in 1949. He wrote for 153 films between 1941 and 1987. He also directed 37 films between 1949 and 1975. Amendola collaborated with Bruno Corbucci on conceiving the Nico Giraldi film series starring Tomas Milian. Amendola died on December 12, 1993, from complications from diabetes.
