Marcin Romanowski
Marcin Romanowski (born 20 January 1976) is a Polish politician. He was a deputy Minister of Justice of the Republic of Poland in the Second and Third Cabinet of Mateusz Morawiecki. He was elected as a member of the Sejm on 15 October 2023 from the Law and Justice list. Since January 2024 deputy representative of the Sejm in the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe. Life He graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration of Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń in 2000, later studying at University of Regensburg He is serving as a numerary of the conservative Catholic group Opus Dei. Following a change of the Polish government in the 2023 Polish parliamentary election, 11 corruption charges were leveled against him, including defrauding or attempting to defraud $40m from a justice fund meant to help crime victims. The Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Poland is one of the Ministries of the Republic of Poland, ministries of Poland. 2023 Polish Parliamentary Election
Parliamentary elections were held in Poland on 15 October 2023 to elect members of the Sejm and Senate of Poland, Senate. A 2023 Polish referendum, referendum containing four questions concerning economic and immigration policy of the government was held simultaneously. In the previous 2019 Polish parliamentary election, the ruling right-wing Law and Justice (Poland), Law and Justice Party (PiS) had held onto its majority in the Sejm with Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki forming Second Cabinet of Mateusz Morawiecki, a second government. The PiS sought to win a third term which would be unprecedented in Polish history. The opposition, including the Civic Platform, Civic Platform Party and others, secured a Senate majority. Hungary–Poland Relations
Poland–Hungary relations are the foreign relations between Poland and Hungary. Relations between the two nations date back to the Middle Ages. The two Eastern European peoples have traditionally enjoyed a very close friendship, brotherhood and camaraderie rooted in a deep history of shared rulers, cultures, struggles, and faith. Both countries commemorate their fraternal relationship on 23 March. From 1370 to 1382 the Kingdom of Poland and Kingdom of Hungary entered into a personal union and were ruled by the same King, Louis the Great.
