Marble (band)
marble is a Japanese musical duo, originally named The Student's and formed in 1999. The members, Micco and Tatsuya Kikuchi, met and became friends while they were both enrolled in music school. Kikuchi was the main musical support for Micco at that time, who was acting as a solo artist. As they got to know each other better, they decided that they could both make better music if they performed together, and formed The Student's. After getting signed to Warner Music Group's indie label in 1999, they had two releases, but got increasingly more involved in production for other artists and gradually did less and less of their own activities. However, the urge to write and perform their own music came back, and to commemorate this change in attitude, they resigned the company and renamed themselves 'marble' in 2003 and played shows with a backup band, but they split from the band in 2005, and Micco and Kikuchi continued their performances as a duo. Marbell
Marbell (stylized as MarBell) was a Japanese rock band active from 2006 to 2010 and signed to their own independent label, N-Records. The band's clothes and outfits were all designed by famed fashion designer H. Naoto. History Marbell was formed in 2006 with half-Japanese half-American Model (person), model MAA (singer), Mar on vocals and Tsunoda Takanori as guitarist, producer and arranger. They were later joined by bassist Azusa and drummer yu-ya before releasing their debut album, ''Sister'', on May 14, 2008. The band toured throughout Japan, mainly performing live in Tokyo, but also performed at the 2008 Otakon convention in the United States. Four of the songs from their album were performed by the band on May 3, 2008, on the first day of the hide memorial summit, which gave Marbell the opportunity to play for a huge audience at Ajinomoto Stadium and to honor Hide (musician), hide, whom Tsunoda was greatly inspired by. Hidamari Sketch
is a Japanese ''yonkoma'' manga series written and illustrated by Ume Aoki. It follows a group of young female art students, and following their daily lives as close friends and neighbors at the nearby Hidamari Apartments. The manga has been serialized in Houbunsha's monthly magazine ''Manga Time Kirara Carat'' since February 28, 2004, with its chapters collected in ten ''tankōbon'' volumes as of March 2020. Since 2008, Yen Press has licensed an English translation of the series in North America under the title ''Sunshine Sketch''. A 12-episode anime adaptation by Shaft (company), Shaft aired in Japan between January and March 2007. "Early Christmas Morning" is a song by American recording artist Cyndi Lauper, from her sixth studio album and first Christmas album, '' Merry Christmas...Have a Nice Life'' (1998).
