Manuel Silvela
Manuel Silvela y Le Vielleuze KStJ (9 March 1830, in Paris, Kingdom of France – 25 May 1892, in Madrid, Kingdom of Spain) was a Spanish politician, lawyer, writer and journalist who held several importante governmental offices, such as Minister of State and Councillor of State. Silvela was son of the prominent lawyer Francisco Agustín Silvela y Blanco and wife Luisa de le Vielleuze y Sotés, and brother of the also politician Francisco Silvela. The Most Excellent
The Most Excellent ( (male) or (female), literally "Most Excellent Lord/Lady") is an honorific prefix that is traditionally applied to certain people in Spain and certain Spanish-speaking countries. Following Spanish tradition, it is an '' ex officio'' style (the holder has it as long as they remain in office, in the most important positions of state) and is used in written documents and very formal occasions. The prefix is similar (but not equal) to that of " His/Her Excellency", but in the 19th century "The Most Excellent" began to replace the former. The Imperial Order of the Rose () was a Brazilian order of chivalry, instituted by Pedro I of Brazil, Emperor Pedro I of Brazil on 17 October 1829 to commemorate his marriage to Amélie of Leuchtenberg. On 22 March 1890, the order was cancelled as Order (honour), national order by the interim government of First Brazilian Republic. Since the deposition in 1889 of the last Brazilian monarch, Pedro II of Brazil, Emperor Pedro II, the order continues as a house order being awarded by the Heads of the House of Orleans-Braganza, pretenders to the defunct throne of Brazil. The Order of Burma was founded by Royal warrant (document), Royal Warrant on 10 May 1940, and conferred in a single class. It was awarded by the Governor of British Burma for long, faithful and honourable service by Viceroy's commissioned officer, Governor's Commissioned (i.e. native Burmese) Officers in the Burma Army, the Burma Frontier Force and the Burma Military Police.
