Manuel Maria Mustelier
Manuel Maria Mustelier (1878–1941) was a Cuban writer whose works were included in the newspaper ''El Mundo'', as well as ''El FÃgaro'', ''Bohemia'', and ''Cuba y América''. Born in Santiago de Cuba, he engaged in separatist activities from an early age alongside his brother, Luis Alejandro. El FÃgaro was a Cuban magazine published in Havana from 1885 to 1929, with irregular publications continuing until 1933. It began as a sports magazine, but evolved into a more general interest consumer magazine and became "the driving force of the Cuban press and of national culture."
