Manuel Hagel
Manuel Hagel (born 1 May 1988) is a German banker and politician of the Christian Democratic Union (CDU) who has been serving as a member of the State Parliament of Baden-Württemberg since 2016, where has been chairing his party's parliamentary group since 2021. From 2016 to 2021, he was the secretary general of his party in Baden-Württemberg, under the leadership of its chairman Thomas Strobl. Early life and career Hagel was born 1988 in the Swabian town of Ehingen and became a banker. Political career Hagel entered the CDU in 2006 and was elected as part of his party's leadership in Baden-Württemberg in 2015. He became a member of the Landtag of Baden-Württemberg in the 2016 state elections. In parliament, he has since been serving on the Committee on Internal Affairs, Digitization and Migration and on the Committee on Consumer Protection. Annegret Kramp-Karrenbauer (; Kramp; born 9 August 1962), sometimes referred to by her initials of AKK, is a retired German politician who served as Minister of Defence from 2019 to 2021 and as Leader of the Christian Democratic Union (CDU) from 2018 to 2021. Jens Georg Spahn (born 16 May 1980) is a German politician who served as Federal Minister of Health in the fourth cabinet of Chancellor Angela Merkel from 2018 to 2021. A member of the centre-right Christian Democratic Union (CDU), he has been the member of the lower house of the federal parliament, the Bundestag (german: link=no, Mitglied des Deutschen Bundestages, MdB), for Steinfurt I – Borken I since 2002. Armand Zorn (born 18 July 1988) is a German politician of the Social Democratic Party (SPD) who has been serving as a member of the Bundestag since 2021, representing the Frankfurt am Main I district. Early life and education Zorn was born 1988 in Yaoundé in Cameroon and moved to Germany in 2000. His family settled in Halle in Saxony-Anhalt where he was educated. The Christian Social Union in Bavaria (German: , CSU) is a Christian-democratic and conservative political party in Germany.
