Manik Bhattacharya
Manik Bhattacharya is an Indian teacher, advocate and politician who served as president of West Bengal Board of Primary Education, West Bengal Board of Primary Education (WBBPE) until 2022. During SLST Examination 2016, he was the president of WBBPE. In late 2023, he was admitted to SSKM Hospital, citing chest pains.[11] A member of Trinamool Congress, he is serving as member of West Bengal Legislative Assembly from Palashipara Assembly constituency, Palashipara, Nadia since 7 May 2021. He was arrested by Enforcement Directorate, ED on 11 October 2022 in connection with 2022 West Bengal School Service Commission recruitment scam. He got bail from Calcutta High Court in September 2024. West Bengal Legislative Assembly
The West Bengal Legislative Assembly (ISO 15919, ISO: ''Paścimabaṅga Vidhānasabhā'') is the unicameral legislature of the Indian state of West Bengal, located in eastern India. It consists of 294 members directly elected from single-seat constituencies through the first-past-the-post voting, FPTP voting system. The Assembly meets at Vidhan Sabha Bhavan in Kolkata, the capital of the state. Utkal University
Utkal University (UU) is a public university in Bhubaneswar, Khordha, Odisha, and is the oldest university in the state, and the 17th-oldest university in India. The university was established in 1943 and was operating from Ravenshaw College in the early days. The foundation stone of the current Utkal University campus at Vani Vihar, Bhubaneswar, was laid by Dr. Rajendra Prasad, the first President of India, on 1 January 1958.
