''Mangai Oru Gangai'' is a 1987 Indian Tamil-language legal drama film directed by T. Hariharan and produced by Kovaithambi. The film stars Saritha and Nadhiya. It was released on 24 July 1987. Plot Radha Ranganathan, an advocate, becomes cynical after failing to get a criminal convicted for the murder of her brother-in-law. Hariharan (director)
Hariharan is an Indian film director who has directed over 50 Malayalam films. His movies mainly revolve around the cultural and relational aspects of a typical Keralite society. His most notable works include '' Sharapancharam'' (1979), '' Panchagni'' (1986), '' Idavazhiyile Poocha Mindappoocha'' (1979), '' Amrutham Gamaya'' (1987), '' Oru Vadakkan Veeragatha'' (1989), '' Sargam'' (1992), '' Parinayam'' (1994) and '' Pazhassi Raja'' (2009) which has won him wide critical acclaim. Sivachandran
Narayanan, better known by his stage name Sivachandran, is an Indian actor, director, and writer who was active in Tamil cinema mostly in the 1980s. Career Sivachandran was originally offered to act in ''Kizhakke Pogum Rail'' (1978), but declined. He made his film debut in ''Pattina Pravesam'' (1977) as one of the lead actors. He later starred in ''Annapoorani'' (1978) with R. Muthuraman in a negative role. He went on to star in notable films include ''Aval Appadithan'' (1978) and '' Polladhavan'' (1980). Kovaithambi (born 28 November 1940) is an Indian film producer and politician who was active primarily in the 1980s, in Tamil cinema. Early life Kovaithambi was born on 28 November 1940 to Perumal Udayar and Sunthayi Ammal, a farming couple belonging to the Udayar caste. He did his schooling at the R. S. Puram Corporation Boys Higher Secondary School, Coimbatore. During that period, he was fascinated by the speeches of politicians such as M. G. Ramachandran, C. N. Annadurai, M. Karunanidhi, E. V. K.
