Malhargad
Malhargad is a hill fort in western India near Saswad, from Pune. It is also known as Sonori Fort due to the village of Sonori being situated at its base. This range is known as the Bhuleshwar range which is spread along the east–west direction. The fort is believed to be built to keep watch on Dive ghat along the Pune-Saswad route. Bhuleshwar (Old spelling Bholeśvar) is a historic neighborhood in South Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. Known for its vibrant markets, temples, and traditional architecture, Bhuleshwar is one of Mumbai’s oldest commercial and residential districts. The area is densely populated and serves as a hub for textile, jewelry, and wholesale businesses. It is situated in South Mumbai and to the north of the Fort area. Parvati Hill
Parvati Hill is a hillock in Pune, India. The hillock rises to above sea level. Atop the hillock is the Parvati Temple, one of the most scenic locations in Pune. The temple is the oldest heritage structure in Pune and was built during the rule of the Peshwa dynasty. For visitors, Parvati hill is also an observation point that offers a panoramic view of Pune. It is the second highest point in Pune (after Vetal Hill). The hill has 108 steps (considered a holy number in Hinduism) leading to the top of the hill where the temple is situated. The hill was owned by the Patil named Taware. Peshwa purchased the hill to build a temple of Shiva. Jejuri (Marathi pronunciation: ͡ʒed͡zuɾiː is a city and a municipal council in the Pune district of Maharashtra, India. Khandoba Mandir is an important Hindu temple to the Hindu Lord Khandoba, one of the most visited tirtha (holy places) in Maharashtra. Khandoba is a clan god for many Maharashtrian castes and communities, beloved as a god who grants wishes. Saswad
Saswad is a municipal council located on South-Eastern corridor of Pune district of the Indian state of Maharashtra. Saswad is situated on the banks of the Karha River. Saswad is about 31 km from Pune-Central Station. History Saswad is a place with a long history. It is situated on the ancient trade route connecting the coastal Konkan ports to the Deccan interiors. Being on a trade route made it a center for Buddhist monasteries. The ''samadhi'' or the resting place of the 13th century Varkari Sant Sopan is located in the town. Purandar Fort is a mountain fort in Pune district in the Western Indian state of Maharashtra, India. Sinhagad
Sinhagad (''Lion's Fort'') is an ancient hill fortress located at around 28 km southwest of the city of Pune, India. Previously known as ''Kondhana'', the fort had been the site of many battles, most notably the Battle of Sinhagad in 1670. The fort is a popular weekend destination for the residents of Pune. A road directly leads up to the summit of the fort. Trekking enthusiasts can get access to the summit from the base of the fort. The trek involves a one-way walk of 2.7 km (1.6 miles) over which the walker gains about 600 m (1950 feet) in elevation. Shared taxi services to the base as well as the summit are also available.
