Malchand Tiwari
Malchand Tiwari is a poet, writer and translator in Rajasthani and Hindi. He is an executive member of Sahitya Akademi (Academy of Literature). He has served for many literary institutes of national and international reputation. Works He has written Paryaywachi, Bholavan and short stories collections including Panidar, Sukant Ke Sapno Mein, Jaliyan Aur Jharokhe, Tran, Dhadand and Celebration. His collection of Rajasthani poems, Utrayo Hai Abho received the Sahitya Akademi Award. He has also translated H G Wells’ Time Machine in Hindi. Rajasthani (Devanagari: ) refers to a group of Indo-Aryan languages and dialects spoken primarily in the state of Rajasthan and adjacent areas of Haryana, Gujarat, and Madhya Pradesh in India. The Sahitya Akademi, India's National Academy of Letters, is an organisation dedicated to the promotion of literature in the languages of India. Founded on 12 March 1954, it is supported by, though independent of, the Indian government. Its office is located in Rabindra Bhavan near Mandi House in Delhi.
