Rajasthani Language
The Rajasthani languages are a group of Western Indo-Aryan languages, primarily spoken in Rajasthan and Malwa, and adjacent areas of Haryana, Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh in India and South Punjab and the adjacent areas of Sindh in Pakistan. They have also reached different corners of India, especially eastern and southern parts of India, due to the migrations of people of the Marwari community who use them for internal communication. Rajasthani languages are also spoken to a lesser extent in Nepal, where they are spoken by 25,394 people according to the 2011 Census of Nepal. The term Rajasthani is also used to refer to a literary language mostly based on Marwari.. Malvi or Malwi (माळवी भाषा) is an Indo-Aryan language spoken in the Malwa region of India. It is a dialect of Rajasthani language. Marwari People
The Marwari or Marwadi (Devanagari: मारवाड़ी) are an Indo-Aryan ethno-linguistic group that originate from the Marwar region of Rajasthan, India. Their language, also called Marwari, comes under the umbrella of Rajasthani languages, which is part of the Western Zone of Indo-Aryan languages. Apart from India, they have sizeable presence in the neighbouring countries of Pakistan and Nepal. Dhundari Language
Dhundhari (ढूंढाड़ी), also known as Jaipuri, is a Indo-Aryan language variety of the Rajasthani languages group. It is spoken in the Dhundhar region of northeastern Rajasthan state, India. Dhundari-speaking people are found in four districts – Jaipur, Sawai Madhopur, Dausa, Tonk and some parts of Sikar, Karauli and Gangapur District. With some 1.5 million speakers, it is not the largest speaking language variety in Rajasthan, though fairly used in the regions mentioned above. Dhundhari is spoken widely in and around Jaipur. MacAlister completed the grammatical analysis on 24 February 1884. Books on Jain philosophy, such as '' Moksha Marga Prakashak,'' have been written in Dhundari by Acharya Kalpa Pt. Todarmalji. Harauti Language
Hadauti or Harauti (Hadoti) is an Indo-Aryan language of Rajasthani languages group spoken by approximately four million people in the Hadoti region of southeastern Rajasthan, India. Its speakers are concentrated in the districts of Kota, Baran, Bundi and Jhalawar in Rajasthan, as well as in neighbouring areas of Madhya Pradesh. It has a nominative marker /nɛ/, which is absent in other Rajasthani languages. Its word order is the typical subject–object–verb. Gujari Language
Gujari (also spelt Gojri, Gujri, or Gojari; ) is a Rajasthani Indo-Aryan language spoken by most of the Gujjar people in the northern parts of India and Pakistan, as well as in Afghanistan. In India, the language is spoken by 16.3 million people (as of 2011) in Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, Haryana, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh, with ethnic Gujjars elsewhere having shifted to the regional languages instead.
