Make It Easy
"Make It Easy" is a 1991 song by the progressive rock band Yes. An early version of this song from 1981 was written and sung by Trevor Rabin, originally as a demo titled "Don't Give In". It was later re-worked by Yes which included Chris Squire, Alan White and Tony Kaye after Jon Anderson made his departure from the band. The song was unreleased until 1991, when it was included on the Yes boxed set ''Yesyears'' and released as a cassette single backed with "Long Distance Runaround". The single debuted on the ''Billboard'' Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks chart in August 1991, eventually peaking at number 36. Yes are an English progressive rock band formed in London in 1968. Comprising List of Yes band members, 20 full-time musicians over their career, their most notable members include lead singer Jon Anderson, bassist Chris Squire, guitarists Steve Howe and Trevor Rabin, drummers Bill Bruford and Alan White (Yes drummer), Alan White, and keyboardists Tony Kaye (musician), Tony Kaye and Rick Wakeman. Trevor Horn
Trevor Charles Horn (born 15 July 1949) is an English record producer and musician. His influence on pop and electronic music in the 1980s was such that he has been called "the man who invented the eighties". Horn took up the bass guitar at an early age and taught himself to sight-read music. In the 1970s, he worked as a session musician, built his own studio, and wrote and produced singles for various artists. Horn gained fame in 1979 as a member of the Buggles, who achieved a hit single with " Video Killed the Radio Star". He was invited to join the progressive rock band Yes, becoming their lead singer. In 1981, Horn became a full-time producer, working on successful songs and albums for acts including Yes, Dollar, ABC, Malcolm McLaren, Grace Jones and Frankie Goes to Hollywood. ''90124'' is a compilation album by South African musician Trevor Rabin, released in 2003 on Voiceprint Records. It contains previously unreleased demos and songs that he wrote as a solo artist, some of which were recorded by Yes when he joined the band in 1983. The album's title and artwork is a direct reference to ''90125'' (1983), the first Yes album to feature Rabin that was produced mainly from his demos included on ''90124''. "Walls" features Supertramp singer Roger Hodgson on vocals, recorded when he was invited to sing with Yes, though Jon Anderson's return ended this idea. Nonetheless, Rabin and Hodgson became close friends and Rabin played guitar, keyboards and backing vocals on Hodgson's song "The More I Look", featured on '' Open the Door''. Billy Sherwood
William Wyman Sherwood (born March 14, 1965) is an American multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, singer, record producer and mixing engineer. He is best known for his tenures in the English progressive rock band Yes (band), Yes as guitarist and keyboardist in 1994 and from 1997 to 2000 and as bassist since 2015, following the death of original bassist Chris Squire. He is also known for working with former and current Yes members on other projects. In addition to his involvement with Yes, Sherwood is the frontman of progressive rock groups World Trade (band), World Trade, Circa (band), Circa and formerly Lodgic. In 2017, he joined Asia (band), Asia after the death of original singer and bassist John Wetton. Outside of these bands, Sherwood has worked as a producer since the 1990s, most notably on tribute albums dedicated to Pink Floyd, The Beatles, Queen (band), Queen and many others. ''Fragile'' is the fourth studio album by the English progressive rock band Yes, released in the UK on 12 November 1971 and in the US on 4 January 1972 by Atlantic Records. It was the band's first album to feature keyboardist Rick Wakeman, who replaced Tony Kaye after the group had finished touring their breakthrough record, '' The Yes Album'' (1971). The band entered rehearsals in London in August 1971, but Kaye's reluctance to play electronic keyboards led to his departure from the group. He was quickly replaced by Wakeman, whose virtuosity, compositional skills, and experience with the electric piano, organ, Mellotron, and Moog synthesiser expanded the band's sound. "It Can Happen" is a song by the progressive rock band Yes, from their 1983 album ''90125''. It was released as the third single from that album, reaching number 51 on the ''Billboard'' Hot 100 chart in 1984. It also reached number 5 on the ''Billboard'' Mainstream Rock chart. History Following the 1981 breakup of the band, bassist Chris Squire and drummer Alan White joined with South African guitarist Trevor Rabin to form a new band called Cinema.
