Moin Uddin Ahmed
Moin Uddin Ahmed, known as 'Montu', was a physician and politician. He was elected a Member of Parliament from Undivided Rajshahi-1 in 1973 and from Chapai Nawabganj-1 in 1986. Shahjahan Miah (born 10 January 1947) is a Bangladesh Nationalist Party politician. Chapainawabganj (Bengali: চাঁপাইনবাবগঞ্জ) is located in the north-western part of Bangladesh. It is a part of the Rajshahi Division, and was formerly a sub-division of Malda district. The north and west part of Chapai Nawabganj is bounded by Malda and Murshidabad districts of India, the east by Naogaon District, and south-east by Rajshahi District. General elections were held in Bangladesh on 3 March 1988. They were boycotted by several major parties, including the Bangladesh Awami League, the Bangladesh Nationalist Party, the Communist Party of Bangladesh, Jamaat-e-Islami Bangladesh, the Bangladesh Krishak Sramik Awami League, the National Awami Party (Muzaffar) and the Workers Party of Bangladesh.
