MAGURA V5
MAGURA V5 (Maritime Autonomous Guard Unmanned Robotic Apparatus V-type) is a Ukraine, Ukrainian multi-purpose unmanned surface vehicle (USV) developed for use by the Main Directorate of Intelligence (Ukraine), Main Directorate of Intelligence of Ukraine (HUR) capable of performing various tasks: surveillance, reconnaissance, patrolling, search and rescue, mine countermeasures vessel, mine countermeasures, maritime security, and combat missions. Development HUR signed contracts to design a new USV with private companies who had previously worked with the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) in designing USVs, however had their partnerships terminated due to disputes with the SBU over project specifications and budget. Unmanned surface vehicles (USVs), also known as unmanned surface vessels, autonomous surface vehicles (ASVs) in some cases, uncrewed surface vessels (USVs), or colloquially drone ships, or robot boats, are boats or ships that operate on the surface of the water without a crew. USVs operate with various levels of autonomy, from remote control to fully autonomous. Some commercial USVs may utilize COLREGs-compliant navigation. Sea Baby is a Ukraine, Ukrainian multi-purpose unmanned surface vehicle (USV) developed for use by the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) during the Russian invasion of Ukraine. It is able to carry an explosive payload for use in kamikaze attacks, or equipped with other equipment loadouts for more specialised use. The R-73 ( NATO reporting name AA-11 ''Archer'') is a short-range air-to-air missile developed by Vympel NPO that entered service in 1984. Development The R-73 was developed to replace the earlier R-60 (AA-8 'Aphid') weapon for short-range use by Soviet fighter aircraft. Kerch Strait
The Kerch Strait, uk, Керченська протока, crh, Keriç boğazı, ady, Хы ТӀуалэ is a strait in Eastern Europe. It connects the Black Sea and the Sea of Azov, separating the Kerch Peninsula of Crimea in the west from the Taman Peninsula of Russia's Krasnodar Krai in the east. ''Sergey Kotov'' (russian: Сергей Котов) was a Project 22160 patrol ship, Project 22160 patrol ship of the Russian Navy. The Ondatra class Soviet designation Project 1176 ''Akula'' ("shark") is a class of landing craft built for the Soviet Navy and Russian Navy between 1971 and 2009. Construction The vessels were built by the Azovskiy Shipyard, Rybinsk Shipyard and Vladivostok Shipyard. Over 40 vessels of this type were built for service with the Soviet and Russian navies, and additional vessels were built for export. The vessels are designated as type DKA ''Desantanyy Kater'' and are similar in type to the US Navy Landing Craft Mechanized (LCM). The Ondatra landing craft have a limited range (2-day, ) and have a shallow draught that make them ideal for amphibious operations and littoral combat.
