Létélé
Létélé is a village located in Lim-Pendé Prefecture, Central African Republic. History In 2019, 3R controlled Létélé and used it as a base to launch attacks on several places in Ouham-Pende. On 27 August 2021, Wagner forces visited Létélé searching for ammunition and rebels. However, they looted shops along the road and arrested three shop owners. Locals believed that Wagner's visit motive was to revenge the death of its four members killed by 3R rebels. 3R stormed FACA position in Létélé on 6 November 2021. CPC rebels attacked the FACA post in Létélé on 2 January 2022. Two soldiers were killed and two were missing. As a result, FACA withdrew to Bocaranga Bocaranga is a sub-prefecture in the prefecture of Ouham-Pendé in the Central African Republic. Return, Reclamation, Rehabilitation (abbreviated 3R, ) is a rebel group in the northwestern part of Central African Republic. The group was formed in December 2015 to protect Fulani herders from Anti-balaka militia attacks.Amnesty InternationalCENTRAL AFRICAN REPUBLIC 2017/2018 The group has launched attacks on numerous towns, killed unarmed civilians and UN peacekeepers, and carried out several kidnappings. Bocaranga
Bocaranga is a sub-prefecture in the prefecture of Ouham-Pendé in the Central African Republic. The city must not be confused with Bocaranga I, Bocaranga II, Bocaranga III and Bocaranga IV. These are smaller villages along the road from Bocaranga to Bouar. History The village of Bocaranga was ceded to German Kamerun on 4 November 1911. It went back to French Oubangi-Chari rule in 1914. In 1946 it became a district and on January 23, 1961 it became a sous-préfecture within the newly independent Central African Republic. Civil war On 23 September 2017 Bocaranga was captured by 3R rebels from Anti-balaka. It was recaptured by government forces on 7 January 2019.
