Lusitanos
FC Lusitanos, also known as Lusitans, was an Andorran football club from Andorra la Vella which was founded in 1999 and currently play in Segona Divisió. Lusitanos won their first Primera Divisió title in 2011–12 and its second national championship the following season. The club's name, crest and kit reflect its Portuguese identity. The club's final season was the 2019-2020 season in the Segona Divisió. History Futbol Club Lusitanos (''Futbol Club Lusitans'', Portuguese: Futebol Club Lusitanos) was founded in 1999. The club played for the first time in the Campionat de Lliga in 2000–01, after winning the Second Division championship. In 2001–02 they won its first title, the Copa Constitució after winning 2–0 in the final against Inter Club d'Escaldes on 2 June, with both goals by Manuel Vieira. Segona Divisió
The Segona Divisió (Second Division), or Lliga UNIDA for sponsorship reasons, is the second-highest level of men's football in Andorra. Former FC Santa Coloma reserve team were renamed UE Santa Coloma for 2007–08 (therefore eligible for promotion) and finally gained access to the Primera Divisió after finishing top place. Penya Encarnada d'Andorra are the current holders, having won the 2021–22 title and earning promotion to the Primera Divisió. Primera Divisió
The Primera Divisió (First Division) or Lliga Multisegur Assegurances for sponsorship reasons, is the top level of men's football in Andorra. The league was launched in 1995 sponsored by the local federation (Andorran Football Federation) which was created just one year before. Until then, clubs had played since 1970 in an amateur league without a structure or affiliation with any official institution. Since affiliation to UEFA and FIFA in 1996, Andorran clubs are able to compete in the UEFA competitions. Until 2015 the league was known as ''Lliga Grup Becier'' and during 2016 ''Lliga Grup Sant Eloi''. It was renamed in 2017 as Lliga Multisegur Assegurances for sponsorship reasons. 2019–20 Segona Divisió
The 2019–20 Segona Divisió, also known as Lliga UNIDA, was the 21st season of second-tier football in Andorra. The season began on 21 September 2019 and ended on 11 July 2020. On 5 May, the clubs and the federation agreed on how to finish the season. The two teams which remained mathematically able to qualify for promotion played each other twice to determine final places in the league. On 1 July, this was confirmed. Teams At the end of the previous season, Atlètic Club d'Escaldes and Carroi were promoted to the Primera Divisió. The 2010–11 UEFA Europa League was the second season of the UEFA Europa League, Europe's secondary club football tournament organised by UEFA, and the 40th edition overall including its predecessor, the UEFA Cup.
