The Copa Constitució 2008 was the 16th edition of the Andorran Cup, which is a football knockout competition. Qualifying match The match was played on 17 January 2008. First elimination round The matches were played on 19 and 20 January 2008. Played on 21 January 2008: Second elimination round The matches were played on 27 January 2008. Quarter finals The matches were played on 6 and 10 February 2008. Semi finals The matches were played on 18 May 2008. Final The final was played on 24 May 2008. Unió Esportiva Sant Julià, also known as UE Sant Julià, is an Andorran professional Association football, football club based in the parish of Sant Julià de Lòria. The club currently competes in the Segona Divisió, but withdrew from this season’s edition. History Founded in 1982 UE Sant Julià is the main football club of the Andorran Southern parish of Sant Julià de Lòria. The team have been playing in the top flight since the foundation of the Primera Divisió, Andorran Premier League in 1995. Atlètic Club D'Escaldes
Atlètic Club d'Escaldes, also commonly known as Atlètic d'Escaldes, is an Andorran professional football club based in Escaldes-Engordany, currently playing in Primera Divisió. History Atlètic Club d'Escaldes was founded on 20 May 2002 in Escaldes-Engordany joining Segona Divisió the same year. At the end of 2003–04 season the club was promoted to Primera Divisió. During three seasons the club was playing in the top flight until 2006–07 season when it was relegated to Segona Divisió. The club came back in the top flight in 2019 after winning the 2018–19 Segona Divisió. L'Atlètic reached the 2021 Copa Constitució final but lost against UE Sant Julià 2–1. FC Santa Coloma
FC Santa Coloma is an Andorran professional football club based in Santa Coloma, parish of Andorra la Vella, that competes in the Primera Divisió. It is the most successful team in both Primera Divisió and Copa Constitució, having won both titles thirteen and ten times respectively. History Fútbol Club Santa Coloma was founded in 1986 through the efforts of a group of football enthusiasts who represented the village of the same name that belongs to Andorra la Vella in the National Football Tournament (the former amateur league of Andorra). UE Engordany
Unió Esportiva Engordany is an Andorran football and basketball club based in Escaldes-Engordany. The club football section plays in Primera Divisió. History The club was founded on 2 October 1980 as Unió Esportiva Engordany Futbol Club in the main venue of Engordany by Manuel Puerta Martín, Manuel Varela Valés and Josep Rodríguez Sànchez. On 28 January 1981 the club was established and was later renamed simply as UE Engordany. In 2001 the club was affiliated in the FAF and began competing in the Segona Divisió, being promoted to Primera Divisió in 2003. However the club was relegated the following year after one season playing in the Andorran top league. In the 2006–07 season they finished 3rd in the Andorran 2nd division. Casa Estrella Del Benfica
Futbol Club Casa Estrella del Benfica was an Andorran football club from La Massana. They had played in the top flight of Andorra twice, in the 2008/09 and 2010/11 season. In 2014 the club was not registered in the Second Division for the 2014/15 season being out of competition and dissolved the same year. Like FC Lusitanos the club CE Benfica, founded in 2003, reflected its Portuguese identity. The club also had a good relation with Penya Encarnada d'Andorra. FC Rànger's
Ranger's FC Andorra is an Andorran professional football club based in Andorra la Vella. The team currently plays in Primera Divisió. History The club was founded in 1981, but they only started playing in Andorran leagues in 1999. FC Rànger's aren't associated with Glasgow Rangers. After two years in the Andorran Second Division, they played for the first time in the Campionat de Lliga in the 2001–02 season. Club Esportiu Principat was an Andorran football club created in 1989, based in the city of Andorra la Vella. It was one of the most successful football clubs in Andorra along with FC Santa Coloma and UE Sant Julià, having won three times the Andorran Premier League and five times the Andorran Cup. UE Extremenya is an Andorran football club based in the parish of La Massana. The club currently plays in Segona Divisió. History The club was founded in 1998 as CE Cerni. The club played the 1998–99 Campionat de Lliga, being relegated to the Segona Divisió at the end of the season. They stayed in the Second Division until the coming back in the top flight during the 2002–03 season. The club was relegated after finishing 8th at the end of the regular season. FC Lusitanos, also known as Lusitans, was an Andorran football club from Andorra la Vella which was founded in 1999 and dissolved in 2020. Lusitanos won their first Primera Divisió title in 2011–12 and its second national championship the following season. The club's name, crest and kit reflect its Portuguese identity. Unió Esportiva Santa Coloma, also known as UE Santa Coloma, is an Andorran professional football club based in the village of Santa Coloma, Andorra la Vella.
