Lupu Bridge
The Lupu Bridge (), named after Luwan District, is a through arch bridge over the Huangpu River in Shanghai, People's Republic of China, China, connecting the city's Huangpu District, Shanghai, Huangpu and Pudong New Area, Pudong districts. It is List of longest arch bridge spans, the world's third longest steel arch bridge, after the Ping'nan Third Bridge in Guangxi and the Chaotianmen Bridge in Chongqing. The bridge has a total length including approach spans of and opened on June 28, 2003. The main bridge structure is 750m long including the two side spans of 100m each, and the main span of over the Huangpu River is longer than the previous record holder for the longest arch bridge, the New River Gorge Bridge in Fayetteville, West Virginia. The North–South Elevated Road () is an elevated highway, elevated expressway in the city of Shanghai. Route It begins to the south at Jiyang Road in Pudong New Area, crosses the Huangpu River into Puxi using the Lupu Bridge, and then traverses through Puxi to the Outer Ring Expressway (Shanghai), Outer Ring Expressway in Baoshan District, Shanghai, Baoshan District. Inner Ring Road (), also known as ''Inner Ring Elevated Road'' (), is an elevated expressway loop in the city of Shanghai. It was the first ring road around the city of Shanghai. The Puxi section of the road was completely grade-separated and complete in 1994, while the Pudong section of the road was completely grade-separated in 2009. The Yangpu Bridge () is a sister bridge to the Nanpu Bridge, both crossing the Huangpu River in Shanghai, China. Yangpu is among the world's longest bridges, with a total length of 8354 meters.
