Luis María Uribe
Luis María de Uribe Echevarría (17 October 1906 – 18 November 1994), nicknamed Volea, was a Spanish footballer who played as a forward for Real Madrid and Athletic Bilbao. He was a member of the great Bilbao side under Fred Pentland that won two league titles and three Copa del Rey titles in the early 1930s. He is the father of former Athletic Bilbao footballer Ignacio Uribe. Playing career Real Madrid Uribe was born on 17 October 1906 in Urduliz, Biscay. When he finished high school he moved to Madrid in 1924, at the age of 18, to study medicine, settling in a boarding house. Whilst in the capital, he joined the ranks of Sociedad Gimnástica before being signed by Real Madrid. He was a pure amateur and coincided with the arrival of the first professional that Madrid had: José María Peña. The Basque Country or Basque Autonomous Community (), also officially called Euskadi (), is an Autonomous communities of Spain, autonomous community in northern Spain. A hat-trick or hat trick is the achievement of a generally positive feat three times in a match, or another achievement based on the number three. Origin The term first appeared in 1858 in cricket, to describe H. H. Stephenson taking three Wicket#Dismissing a batsman, wickets with three consecutive delivery (cricket), deliveries. Fans held a collection for Stephenson, and presented him with a hat bought with the proceeds. The term was used in print for the first time in 1865 in the Essex Chronicle, ''Chelmsford Chronicle''. Guillermo Gorostiza Paredes (15 February 1909 – 23 August 1966) was a Spanish footballer who played as a forward. In a 14-year professional career, he played for Athletic Bilbao and Valencia, amassing La Liga totals of 255 games and 178 goals and winning 11 major titles with the two teams combined. Agustín Sauto Arana (11 May 1908 – 21 August 1986), known as Bata, was a Spanish footballer who played as a striker. He spent most of his career with Athletic Bilbao, scoring 208 goals in as many matches across all competitions and winning four La Liga championships. He is the only player to have scored 7 goals against Barcelona in a single match. The goals were scored during the 1930/1931 Laliga season in which Bilbao crushed the Catalans 12-1.
