Luigi Kuveiller
Luigi Kuveiller (3 October 1927 – 10 January 2013) was an Italian cinematographer, best known for his collaboration with film director Elio Petri. Born in Rome, the son of an interior decorator, Kuveiller soon abandoned his studies and began working as an apprentice at Cinecittà in the troupe of cinematographer Filiberto Emmanuel for the propaganda film '' Redenzione'' (1943), directed by Marcello Albani. Becoming a camera assistant in 1945, Kuveiller started working as a camera operator in the 1950s, working among others for Aldo Scavarda on ''L'Avventura'' (1960) by Michelangelo Antonioni, and for Aldo Tonti on ''Barabbas'' (1961). Kuveiller made his debut as a cinematographer with ''We Still Kill the Old Way'' (1967), a film which marked the beginning of his critically appreciated artistic collaboration with Elio Petri. Elio Petri
Eraclio Petri (29 January 1929 – 10 November 1982), commonly known as Elio Petri, was an Italian film and theatre director, screenwriter and film critic. The Museum of Modern Art described him as "one of the preeminent political and social satirists of 1960s and early 1970s Italian cinema". His film '' Investigation of a Citizen Above Suspicion'' won the 1971 Academy Award for Best Foreign-Language Film, and his subsequent film '' The Working Class Goes to Heaven'' received the Palme d'Or at the 1972 Cannes Film Festival. Mario Alberto Ettore Monicelli (; 16 May 1915 – 29 November 2010) was an Italian film director and screenwriter, one of the masters of the ''commedia all'italiana'' ("Italian-style comedy"). He was nominated six times for an Academy Awards, Oscar, and received the Golden Lion for his career. Carlo Vanzina (13 March 1951 – 8 July 2018) was an Italian film director, producer and screenwriter. Vanzina was born in Rome, the son of Maria Teresa Nati and film director Stefano Vanzina and brother of Enrico Vanzina. Many of his projects were made for Italian television with English-speaking actors, and in turn these films received English-language home video releases in America. He frequently worked with models-turned-actresses such as Renee Simonsen, Carole Bouquet, Carol Alt, Lauren Hutton, and Elle Macpherson. Bruno Corbucci
Bruno Corbucci (23 October 1931 – 7 September 1996) was an Italian screenwriter and film director. He was the younger brother of Sergio Corbucci and wrote many of his films. He was born in Rome, where he also died. The vast majority of his directorial efforts are lowbrow comedies. He also directed ''I figli del leopardo'', a parody of ''The Leopard (1963 film), Il gattopardo''. His biggest success came with the long-running "Nico Giraldi" series, which starred Tomas Milian as a foul-mouthed Roman policeman. Damiano Damiani
Damiano Damiani (23 July 1922 – 7 March 2013) was an Italian screenwriter, film director, actor and writer. Poet and director Pier Paolo Pasolini referred to him as "a bitter moralist hungry for old purity", while film critic Paolo Mereghetti said that his style made him "the most American of Italian directors". In 1946 Damiani became part of the so-called Group of Venice with Fernando Carcupino, Hugo Pratt and Dino Battaglia. Mario Alberto Lattuada (; 13 November 1914 – 3 July 2005) was an Italian film director. Career Lattuada was born in Vaprio d'Adda, the son of composer Felice Lattuada. He was initially interested in literature, becoming, while still a student, a member of the editorial staff of the antifascism, antifascist fortnightly ''Camminare...'' Marco Ferreri (11 May 1928 – 9 May 1997) was an Italian film director, screenwriter and actor, who began his career in the 1950s directing three films in Spain, followed by 24 Italian films before his death in 1997. He is considered one of the greatest European cinematic provocateurs of his time and had a constant presence in prestigious festival circuit - including eight films in competition in Cannes Film Festival and a Golden Bear win in 1991 Berlin Film Festival.
