Dario Argento (; born 7 September 1940) is an Italian film director, screenwriter and producer. His influential work in the horror film, horror and giallo genres during the 1970s and 1980s has led him to being referred to as the "Master of the Thrill" and the "Master of Horror". Phenomena (film)
''Phenomena'' is a 1985 Italian ''giallo'' film produced and directed by Dario Argento, who co-wrote the screenplay with Franco Ferrini. It stars Jennifer Connelly, Daria Nicolodi, Dalila Di Lazzaro, Patrick Bauchau and Donald Pleasence. The plot concerns an American teenage girl (Connelly) at a remote Swiss boarding school who discovers she has psychic powers that allow her to communicate with insects, and uses them to pursue a serial killer who is targeting young girls at and around the school. The Five Days
''The Five Days'' (; also known as ''The Five Days of Milan'') is a 1973 comedy-drama film directed by Dario Argento. The film is set during the Five Days of Milan in 1848. Plot The film is set in Milan during the Five Days of Milan, an anti-Austrian revolt which took place between 18-22 March 1848. A petty criminal, Meo Cainazzo, (played by singer Adriano Celentano) escapes from prison following an artillery bombardment and goes in search of his gang leader Zampino. The spaghetti Western is a broad subgenre of Western films produced in Europe. It emerged in the mid-1960s in the wake of Sergio Leone's filmmaking style and international box-office success. Goblin (also Goblin Legacy, Back to the Goblin, New Goblin, Goblin Rebirth, the Goblin Keys, the Goblins and Claudio Simonetti's Goblin) is an Italian progressive rock band known for their film scores.
