Lucie Šafránková
Lucie Šafránková (born 21 May 1987) is a Czech politician and an MP in the Chamber of Deputies for the Freedom and Direct Democracy (SPD). Šafránková holds a degree in psychology from Prague University. In the 2017 Czech legislative election, she was elected to the Chamber of Deputies on second place for the South Moravia constituency. Chamber Of Deputies Of The Czech Republic
The Chamber of Deputies, officially the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic (, PS PČR), is the lower house of the Parliament of the Czech Republic. The chamber has 200 seats and deputies are elected for four-year terms using the party-list proportional representation system with the D'Hondt method and the Imperiali quota, Imperiali and Droop quota, Hagenbach-Bischoff quotas. Since 2002, there are 14constituencies, matching the Czech Regions of the Czech Republic, regions, with district size varying from 8 to 26 representatives. Freedom And Direct Democracy
Freedom and Direct Democracy (, SPD) is a political party in the Czech Republic. It is led by Tomio Okamura and it holds 20 seats in the Chamber of Deputies. The party has been described as right-wing or far-right on the political spectrum. It has also been described as espousing right-wing populism and has expressed opposition to immigration and is staunchly Eurosceptic, while in their political program they state their support for direct democracy. At the end of 2022, the party had 10,682 members and was the fastest growing party in the country in terms of members. History The party was founded in May 2015 by Tomio Okamura and Radim Fiala when eight Members of Parliament split from the Dawn of Direct Democracy parliamentary group.
