Love Hope Strength Foundation
Love Hope Strength Foundation is a charitable foundation whose purpose is to raise funds and awareness in order to benefit people with cancer and leukaemia. The charity sponsors treks and climbs to the world's highest mountains, often performing musical concerts at the peak. Origins In the spring of 2001, at age 31, James Chippendale, an American businessman, was diagnosed with leukemia, needing a bone marrow transplant to recover. After his recovery in 2003, he founded a cancer charity, the Love Hope Strength Foundation (LHSF), with fellow survivor Mike Peters, a Welsh musician and lead singer with The Alarm. James Chippendale
James Chippendale (born circa 1969) is an American business executive and anti-leukemia campaigner and co-founder of the charitable organization, charity Love Hope Strength Foundation. He is also founder and CEO of an entertainment and sports insurance broker, CSI Entertainment Insurance, and hosts a television segment in the Dallas, Texas area. Insurance career Chippendale attended Arizona State University and worked for almost two years at a general insurance company in Dallas, before founding his own company, CSI Entertainment Insurance. Snowdon
Snowdon (), or (), is a mountain in Snowdonia in North Wales. It has an elevation of above sea level, which makes it both the highest mountain in Wales and the highest in the British Isles south of the Scottish Highlands. Snowdon is designated a national nature reserve for its rare flora and fauna, and is located within Snowdonia National Park. The Cult
The Cult are an English Rock music, rock band formed in Bradford in 1983. Nick Harper (born 22 June 1965) is an English singer-songwriter and guitarist. He is the son of English folk musician Roy Harper. Early life Harper was born in London, England, to the folk singer-songwriter Roy Harper. Nick tells of how he remembers a continual procession through the Harper household of his father's famous friends, including not only 'folk/acoustic' artists such as Davy Graham, Bert Jansch, John Renbourn, Jackson C. Everclear is an American Rock music, rock band formed in Portland, Oregon, in 1991. The band was formed by Art Alexakis, the band's lead songwriter, Lead vocals, vocalist, and guitarist, and for most of the band's height of popularity, consisted of Craig Montoya on bass guitar and Greg Eklund on drumkit, drums. Glenn Martin Tilbrook (born 31 August 1957, in Woolwich, London) is an English singer, songwriter and guitarist. He is the lead singer and guitarist of the English new wave band Squeeze, a band formed in the mid-1970s who broke through in the new wave era at the decade's end. He generally writes the music for Squeeze's songs, while his writing partner, Chris Difford, writes the lyrics. In addition to his songwriting skills, Tilbrook is respected both as a singer and an accomplished guitarist. Squeeze Tilbrook formed Squeeze with fellow guitarist and vocalist Chris Difford in the mid-1970s. Squeeze are an English Rock music, rock band that came to prominence in the United Kingdom during the New wave music, new wave period of the late 1970s, and continued recording in the 1980s, 1990s and 2010s.
