Lorraine Winstanley
Lorraine Winstanley (née Farlam, born 28 October 1975) is an English darts player who plays in both World Darts Federation (WDF) and Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events. Career Winstanley won the 2011 Romanian International Darts Open beating Jane Shearing 5–1 in the final. She qualified for the 2011 BDO World Darts Championship, where she lost 0–2 to Irina Armstrong in the quarter-finals. The following year, she went one step further by making it through to the semi-finals, where she was narrowly defeated by Deta Hedman in a last leg decider. Winstanley qualified again for the World Championships in 2013, and made it as far as the quarter-finals, where she was beaten 0–2 by Anastasia Dobromyslova. Buxton
Buxton is a spa town in the High Peak, Derbyshire, Borough of High Peak, Derbyshire, in the East Midlands region of England. 2022 Women's World Matchplay
The 2022 Betfred Women's World Matchplay was the inaugural staging of the tournament by the Professional Darts Corporation. The tournament featured the top eight players on the 2022 PDC Women's Series Order of Merit, competing in a knockout format, with the winner earning a place in the 2022 Grand Slam of Darts and the 2023 PDC World Championship. The tournament was held at the Winter Gardens in Blackpool on 24 July 2022. Fallon Sherrock won the title, defeating Aileen de Graaf 6–3 in the final. Format The format was confirmed on 30 June 2022, with the tournament using a leg format. The quarter-finals are the best of 7 legs (or first to 4 legs), the semi-finals are the best of 9 legs (or first to 5 legs), and the final is the best of 11 legs (or first to 6 legs). Sky One was a British pay television channel operated and owned by Sky Group (a division of Comcast). ''One Hundred and Eighty'' is a British darts game show that aired on Sky 1 from 15 September to 22 October 2015 and was hosted by Davina McCall. Russ Bray served as onstage referee, while Freddie Flintoff and Rod Studd provided commentary from a backstage control booth. Dean Winstanley
Dean Winstanley (born 10 February 1981) is an English professional darts player. He first took up darts as a two-year-old, stopped playing at the age of 12, and then started playing again when he was 22. He turned professional in 2008 and won his first event at the 2010 German Open. Darts career BDO Winstanley won the German Open, England Open, and Belgium Open in 2010. As a result of his performances on the BDO circuit, he qualified for the 2010 Winmau World Masters as the fourth seed. He defeated Stewart Rattray in the last 16 before losing to Martin McCloskey in the quarter-finals. Winstanley also qualified for the 2011 World Championship as the third seed. Aileen de Graaf (born 25 April 1990) is a Dutch darts player who plays in World Darts Federation (WDF) and Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events. Career De Graaf started to play darts in 2007 and from 2010, played ranking tournaments of the NBD. Since 2012, she plays the BDO/World Darts Federation, WDF circuit and already won a lot of tournaments or at least reached the later rounds. Beau Greaves (born 9 January 2004) is an English professional darts player who competes in both World Darts Federation (WDF) events, where she is currently ranked women's world number one, and in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events, where she has finished top of the Women's Series rankings in 2023 and 2024. She is the reigning three-time WDF Women's World Champion, having won consecutive titles in 2022, 2023, and 2024. Lisa Ashton (born 27 August 1970) is an English professional darts player who competes in World Darts Federation (WDF) and Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events. Nicknamed "The Lancashire Rose", Ashton formerly competed in British Darts Organisation (BDO) events. She is a four-time BDO Women's World Champion. is a Japanese darts player. She was a two-time back-to-back British Darts Organisation (BDO) women's world champion. She plays in both World Darts Federation (WDF) and Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events.
