Lorella Cedroni (24 May 1961 – 28 August 2013) was an Italian political philosopher. Career Cedroni studied political science (Sapienza University of Rome, 1984) and philosophy (University of Urbino, 1991), receiving a Ph.D. in Political and Social Sciences (European University Institute, Florence, 1999). She has taught and lectured in many European and American universities, and mainly at Sapienza University of Rome. Lorella Cuccarini Persili (born August 10, 1965) is an Italian singer, actress, dancer, and television presenter. Life and career Cuccarini was born in Rome. At nine years old, she started to attend the dance school of (choreographer and husband of Carmen Russo). 1982–1985: Television debut with ''Fantastico'' and dancing career After some experiences as a chorus girl, Lorella Cuccarini made her television debut at nineteen years old as a member of the dance crew on ''Te lo do io il Brasile'', which aired on Rete 4. Lorella Margaret Jones (February 22, 1943 – February 9, 1995), was a professor of physics and director of the Computer-based Education Research Laboratory (CERL) at the University of Illinois at Urbana–Champaign. Jones was interested in the application of computers to physics education and championed the cause of women in physics. She wrote an essay entitled "Intellectual Contributions of Women in Physics" in ''Women of Science: Righting the Record''. Lorella De Luca (17 September 1940 – 9 January 2014) was an Italian film, television, and voice actress. One of the most recognized '' ingénues'' of Italian cinema during the mid-to-late 1950s, she is best known for having played naive young girls in dramas and comedies. She was born in Florence, Italy, and, following her "discovery" at age 14, made her acting debut in the Federico Fellini film '' Il bidone'' (1955).
