Logan Porter
Logan Porter (born July 12, 1995) is an American professional baseball catcher in the San Francisco Giants organization. He has previously played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Kansas City Royals. Porter was born in Phoenix, Arizona, and attended Valley Vista High School in Surprise. He began developing his skills as a baseball player before playing college baseball at Dixie State University and Northwestern Oklahoma State University. Career Kansas City Royals Porter was not selected in the 2018 Major League Baseball draft, and signed with the Kansas City Royals, who envisioned him as a bullpen catcher, as an undrafted free agent on June 18, 2018. Omaha Storm Chasers
The Omaha Storm Chasers are a Minor League Baseball team of the International League and the Triple-A (baseball), Triple-A affiliate of the Kansas City Royals. They are located in Papillion, Nebraska, a suburb southwest of Omaha, Nebraska, Omaha, and play their home games at Werner Park, which opened in 2011. The team previously played at Johnny Rosenblatt Stadium from 1969 to 2010. Patrick Bailey (born May 29, 1999) is an American professional baseball catcher for the San Francisco Giants of Major League Baseball (MLB). He played college baseball at North Carolina State University, and was selected 13th overall by the Giants in the first round of the 2020 Major League Baseball draft, 2020 MLB draft. Huascar Leandro Brazobán (born October 15, 1989) is a Dominican professional baseball pitcher for the New York Mets of Major League Baseball (MLB). The Sacramento River Cats are a Minor League Baseball team of the Pacific Coast League (PCL) and are the Triple-A (baseball), Triple-A affiliate of the San Francisco Giants. In Major League Baseball, a player to be named later (PTBNL) is an unnamed player involved in exchange or "trade" of players between teams. The terms of a trade are not finalized until a later date, most often following the conclusion of the season. Postponing a trade's final conditions or terms is often done for several reasons. First, the team receiving the PTBNL might not be certain which position they want to fill, so this type of deal gives them more time to figure it out. Second, this type of arrangement gives the team receiving the PTBNL more time to evaluate the available talent on the other team.
