Lodhran Tehsil
Lodhran is an administrative unit of district Lodhran under the Multan Division of Punjab province (Pakistan). Development wise, it is more developed than the other two tehsils of district Lodhran; Kehror Pakka and Dunyapur. The city became more famous nationally and internationally after the General Elections of 2013 when allegations of rigging were put by the Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaaf in National Assembly Constituency NA-154. Geography This tehsil is further divided into several union councils, in which, Gogran, Laal Kamal and Jalla Arain are more famous. Gogran This area is very famous due to the holy shrine of Syed Nasruddin Shah and his forefathers in Mehrabad. His son Syed Rafi ud Din was also the member of Punjab Provincial Assembly during the General Elections of 2008 from Provincial Constituency PP-210. Lodhran District
Lodhran District (), is a district in the province of Punjab, Pakistan, with the city of Lodhran as its capital. Located on the northern side of the River Sutlej, it is bounded to the north by the districts of Multan, Khanewal and Vehari, to the south by Bahawalpur, to the east lie the districts of Vehari and Bahawalpur; while district Multan lies on the western side. Lodhran was split off as a separate district from Multan in 1991. It has the lowest Human Development Index of all districts in Punjab, and is among the thirty poorest districts in Pakistan. 2023 Pakistani Census
The 2023 Census of Pakistan was the detailed enumeration of the Pakistani population and the seventh national census in the country. It was conducted by the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics. It was also the first ever digital census to be held in Pakistan, including the first in South Asian history. The census was initially held from 1 March 2023 to 1 April 2023. However, enumeration was later extended several times until 30 May 2023, because of incomplete enumeration in large cities such as Karachi, Lahore, and Faisalabad, where people are more mobile and therefore harder to count, and in remote and rural Balochistan. The extension was also used by PBS officials and census takers for quality reviews, to check if all households and people were properly counted in each area. Pakistan Standard Time (, abbreviated as PKT) is UTC+05:00 hours ahead of Coordinated Universal Time. The time zone is in use during standard time in Asia. Adamwahan
Adamwahan is a village in Lodhran Tehsil of Lodhran District in Punjab, Pakistan. It was the seat of a pargana in the late 16th century. History Ādamwāhan was listed in the Ain-i-Akbari as a pargana in sarkar Multan, counted as part of the Bet Jalandhar Doab. It was assessed at 369,445 dams in revenue and supplied a force of 30 cavalry and 700 infantry.
