Jonathan Neil Mendelsohn, Baron Mendelsohn (born 30 December 1966) is a British Lobbying, lobbyist and Labour Party (UK), Labour political organiser. He was appointed the Director of General Election Resources for the party in 2007. Mendelsohn is a life peer member of the House of Lords and chairman of 888 Holdings, a gambling company. "Lobbygate" With Neal Lawson and Ben Lucas (lobbyist), Ben Lucas, he founded LLM Communications in 1997, a lobbying firm with easy access to the First Blair ministry, new Labour Government. He has been a spokesman and lobbyist for the gambling company PartyGaming. In 1998, he was caught on tape along with Derek Draper boasting to Greg Palast, an undercover reporter posing as a businessman, about how they could sell access to government ministers and create tax breaks for their clients in a scandal that was dubbed "Lobbygate". Derek Draper
Derek William Draper (15 August 1967 – 3 January 2024) was an English political lobbyist and psychotherapist. As a political advisor, he was involved in two political scandals: " Lobbygate" in 1998, and another in 2009 while he was editor of the LabourList website. He authored two books, ''Blair's 100 Days'' and ''Life Support''. Draper made headlines in March 2020 when he contracted COVID-19 during the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic in England, and became seriously ill with an exceptionally serious case of long COVID; he was hospitalised for over a year and continued to require round-the-clock care upon release. He returned to hospital with extreme complications in December 2023, during which time he sustained a cardiac arrest and died on 3 January 2024. The 2007 Labour Party deputy leadership election was a British political party election for the position of deputy leader of the Labour Party. Karmarama is an advertising agency based in London and founded in 2000. Karmarama was launched by partners Naresh Ramchandani and Dave Buonaguidi in May 2000.
