Liu Mingfu
Colonel (ret.) Liu Mingfu (刘明福) is a retired Chinese PLA officer and noted Chinese author, public speaker, and hawkish military commentator. As the author of well-known nationalist book ''China Dream: The Great Power Thinking and Strategic Positioning of China in the Post-American Era'', Liu argues that China should displace the United States as world leader. Liu advocates that China's pursuing a "military rise" will allow it to rival and then surpass America's role as a source of global order, in an Olympic-style competition between civilizations. Liu has taken inspiration from Union tactics in the American Civil War in a potential war of unification with Taiwan. Zero-sum game is a Mathematical model, mathematical representation in game theory and economic theory of a situation that involves two competition, competing entities, where the result is an advantage for one side and an equivalent loss for the other. In other words, player one's gain is equivalent to player two's loss, with the result that the net improvement in benefit of the game is zero. If the total gains of the participants are added up, and the total losses are subtracted, they will sum to zero. Liu Yazhou
Liu Yazhou (; born 19 October 1952) is a retired general of the Chinese People's Liberation Army Air Force (PLAAF), and the political commissar of the PLA National Defence University from 2009 to 2017. Liu is the son-in-law of former Chinese president Li Xiannian. He is known for his hawkish views on the defense and strategic posture he believes China should adopt. Luo Yuan (; born 17 April 1950), is a Chinese naval officer, author, social commentator, and military theorist at the PLA Academy of Military Science.
