Main characters Haruto Soma is a misunderstood former soccer player and one of several individuals who possess the potential to perform magic, or Gates, who abandoned his dream of going pro after injuring his best friend and teammate, Kazuya, during a tryout. Due to his status as a Gate, Sou Fueki kidnapped Soma and several others like him and subjected them to the Sabbath ritual in a failed attempt to revive his deceased daughter, Koyomi. is a Japanese tokusatsu drama in Toei Company's ''Kamen Rider'' franchise, being the fourteenth series in the Heisei period run and the twenty-third overall.
