Finland
Finland, officially the Republic of Finland, is a Nordic country in Northern Europe. It borders Sweden to the northwest, Norway to the north, and Russia to the east, with the Gulf of Bothnia to the west and the Gulf of Finland to the south, opposite Estonia. Erkko Kivikoski (2 July 1936 – 11 August 2005) was a Finnish film director and screenwriter. He directed nine films between 1962 and 1981. Marjatta Raita (17 February 1944, Pori – 27 September 2007) was a Finnish actress, who was best known for her role as Elisabeth Turhapuro in the Uuno Turhapuro movies directed by Spede Pasanen. Biography Born in Pori, Marjatta Raita's parents were the actors Eino and Valli Raita. She studied at a theater school from 1962 to 1965. Immediately after completing her studies in 1965, Raita joined the Helsinki City Theatre. She appeared in numerous roles including as Kyllikki in Tulipunakuka, as Mrs. Vallesmann in Burglary, as Crete in Nummisuutarien and as Mrs. Florence in the comedy Diivat. Vesa-Matti "Vesku" Loiri (4 January 1945 – 10 August 2022) was a Finnish actor, musician and comedian, best known for his role as Uuno Turhapuro, whom he portrayed in a total of 20 movies between the years 1973 and 2004. Loiri made a strong impression early in his career with the role of Jake in the drama film ''The Boys (1962 Finnish film), The Boys''. He later acted in notable films such as ''Rakastunut rampa'', ''Pedon merkki'', and ''The Howling Miller'', as well as the television series ''Rauta-aika''. Erkki Olavi "Ere" Kokkonen (7 July 1938 – 16 October 2008), born in Savonlinna, was a Finnish film director and screenwriter. He worked closely with Spede Pasanen all the way from the 1960s until Spede's death, as a director, writer and also an actor. Kokkonen's feature film debut was ''Millipilleri'' (1966), co-directed with Spede Pasanen and Jukka Virtanen (director), Jukka Virtanen. Jukka Sipilä (12 May 1936, Kivijärvi – 7 August 2004, Helsinki, Finland) was a prolific Finnish actor and television director. He began acting in film in the 1960s and took up TV directing shortly in the early 1970s before concentrating on acting again. Heikki Kinnunen (born in Raahe) is a Finland, Finnish actor, who became well known in the beginning of the 1970s in the comedy program ''Ällitälli''. Kinnunen was known specially for his roles in comedy films and -series. He has played the leading role in Vääpeli Körmy films and appeared in five Uuno Turhapuro films. Kinnunen's most famous comedic catch-phrase is "Onks Viljoo näkyny?"
