List Of Cancelled GameCube Games
This is a list of cancelled GameCube video games. The GameCube is a video game console released by Nintendo in 2001. After the decline in market share and loss of third party game developer support in the prior generation with the Nintendo 64, Nintendo worked to repair relationships with developers with the GameCube. While Nintendo's first party games generally sold well, many third party developed game sales lagged, leading Nintendo to work with third parties to help with publishing. While this helped, there were still many games cancelled for the platform, between pitches being rejected by Nintendo, third party support being pulled due to lack of sales, and Nintendo themselves pushing games off to their next platform, the Wii, which released in late 2006. This list documents all known games that were confirmed for the GameCube at some point, but did not end up being released for it in any capacity. Games There are currently games on this list. GameCube
The is a PowerPC-based home video game console developed and marketed by Nintendo. It was released in Japan on September 14, 2001, in North America on November 18, 2001, in Europe on May 3, 2002, and in Australia on May 17, 2002. It is the successor to the Nintendo 64. As a Sixth generation of video game consoles, sixth-generation console, the GameCube primarily competed with Sony Interactive Entertainment, Sony's PlayStation 2, Sega's Dreamcast and Microsoft's Xbox (console), Xbox. Conker's Bad Fur Day
''Conker's Bad Fur Day'' is a 2001 Platformer, platform game produced by Rare (company), Rare for the Nintendo 64. The game follows Conker the Squirrel, Conker, a greedy, hard-drinking red squirrel who must return home to his girlfriend, Berri, after binge drinking. Most of the game requires the player to complete a linear sequence of challenges that involve jumping over obstacles, solving Puzzle video game, puzzles, and fighting enemies. A Multiplayer video game, multiplayer mode in which up to four players can compete against each other in seven different game types is also included. ''Conker'' is a series of platform video games created and produced by Rare. It chronicles the events of Conker the Squirrel, an anthropomorphic red squirrel that made his debut as a playable character in ''Diddy Kong Racing''. ''Celebrity Deathmatch'' is a professional wrestling video game by American studio Big Ape Productions, based on the MTV series of the same name. It is available for PlayStation, as well as Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 2 and Xbox. The game features celebrities and movie monsters as playable characters. Gameplay In the game, the player needs to hit their opponent several times until the opponent's life meter flashes red, at which point text will show the word ''Kill!''.
